Did you realize ND started a freshman from Georgia at tackle the entire year. Seemed to work out okay. Note: He got hurt last game.

Not to mention I guess he thinks lance wont get any better

I have always wondered why we rarely throw to the RBs. I mean we rarely try any RB screens or wheel routes.

Yeah was interested to see how he’d do as a full time starter even at a smaller school. I guess maybe Florida is paying more for him to be a backup than other schools offering him a chance to start.

We do. But we need an OL that can protect without keeping the RB in to help in pass protection.

Recent Hyatt interview he talked about how impressive Sampson was catching the ball even as a freshman.

We definitely should have thrown him some wheel routes and even occasionally a screen against blitzing defenses. Will never understand why we didnt, especially with the WRs we had dropping so many balls last year.

Partially needing help in pass blocking, partially defenses being able to squeeze the field since our deep ball wasn’t a consistent threat, partially uninspired scheming/playcalling.

So a lot of the same stuff that hurt the offense as a whole this year.

Not like our offense has been that hard to defend the last few yrs anyway. Probably wouldn't hurt us.

It has. We just know there is way too many points left behind. We saw the offense click when we had a great qb and and true #1 receiver. It was hard to watch at times this year but we stilled scored at a good clip.

Our RUN game has been good. We piled up a lot of points vs bad teams. We averaged 21 pts a game in SEC Play. Nothing about that is good. And we didn't even have to play Texas, Ole Miss, S.Car or Mizzou. But, we did score 247 pts in 4 non Conference games against 3 bad teams and 1 average team. If that's pretty good, then you are easy to please!

I apologize. It was a smart ass post and it was neither funny nor warranted. The basketball game earlier today affected my mood.

Every team piles up yards and points against bad teams. Our offense was 15th nationally. Sorry to tell you but that’s really good.

He broke it down as to why we were 15th nationally. And how it was inflated by our non-conference opponents. We were not good scoring offensively in sec play. Our offense was not what it needed to be. Coaches know it, players knew it, and our fanbase saw it too.

Thank you! That's exactly what I was trying to explain to him, but he's one of those that's never wrong and would argue with a 6 month old.
