Rice was the closest NFL player we've had to MJ imo. Dude never stopped outworking people, even into his 40s at the end of his career college kids couldn't keep up with the workouts he did during the off season.

We also don't really know his true 40 since there is a big gap in reported times as fast as 4.45 and as slow as 4.71...I actually think he was a 4.4s guy all day watching him. One of those guys that understood angles better than anyone as well.

From what I can tell looking at Oregon's roster, they have 8 returning scholarship WRs and have already added Malik Benson through the portal and 2 Wrs through HS recruiting, including the #1 WR in the class. How many WRs are they going to have? Is Phil Knight providing unlimited NIL resources? Are they willing to get into a bidding war to add a 12th WR?

He didn't get where he is by ignoring ROI and giving his money away. I'm sure he gives a lot, but I doubt he's just slinging around as much as he can trying to buy a championship
