I use to lurk on here back in the day and one day while I was signing up I had Trippie Redd playing on Spotify, so I just chose that.

Cool! I was just searching on Google and Trippie popped up for some reason and it made me think about it. So that's why I asked. I like Trippie tbh. I listen to a little bit of everything but music is my thing...... and sports!

I don't think it's up in the air like everyone is saying. A couple of our insiders here have said that we are in a good spot to land a WR and until they say otherwise, I have no reason to believe it won't happen.

I wouldn't say Tate is far and away better than Wingo. More experienced, sure. But Wingo had a pretty terrific true freshman season too. If Matthews had that sort of season for us this year, I would be willing to bet the chatter about adding a true number 1 WR would be much quieter.

I find it odd that they didn’t go after any WR’s in the portal given the huge need. It’s make me think they had a plan all along. I guess we will see.

Which may suggest he has no idea how to evaluate high school kids. That would be very detrimental to his job.

Or maybe he didnt recruit much talent until Darnell Wright got drafted. Since then his recruiting has improved.
We will soon see if his high school recruits are capable of playing and being developed.
There's no doubt his first couple classes were not very good. THey've been higher rated since then so we'll see what comes of that.

With a better OL the WRs we already have will have more time to get open and Nico will have more time to assess the field.

Or they didn’t want a backup plan. Either land the big fish or get a couple more guys just to add bodies and let your young guys shine.

100% agree with this. I wouldn't tell Tate no by any means, but I'm ok with our WR room. I think we will be fine there, but I'm concerned about our OL. You can never have too many OL.
