Disagree. I think the offers are to hedge bets and have a backup plan if a current player wants more than they’re willing to pay and leaves. I don’t think they intend to take anyone or replace anyone unless another body leaves.Your opinion, and that’s fine.
Coaches think differently if they are offering Bothwell and Wayshawn Parker.
Some people are just too attached to current players.
Somehow you have to factor in him not running behind an SEC line. He definitely has talent, just not sure if it translates. Sometimes it's easier to tell for a WR, RB's can be a little tougher. I've not seen video of this guy either.
I’dCJH has taken a transfer WR every year. Don’t care what AP says. History, combined with attrition, tells me we’ll get a portal WR.
it’s been on here. Seen more than one post about it.What credible source stated that about Boo? Just curious where it's coming from
True and I haven’t made comment on who we should or shouldn’t but don’t like fans that tell other fans how to fan…especially when it’s obviousHe does have a point. None of us really do know what we should be targeting in the portal.
We'd love to get Moe here. High-level starter.. big mauler type. Josh Thompson from Northwestern is a more athletic Karic type.

The A&M kid was really more of a center and we need more of a guard.
David Blay is solid. Would be a nice body to add to DT (at right price). James Thompson from Wisconsin could be a fine body for us.
I do think we take a running back. I doubt think that guy is in the portal.
Totally agree. I'm seeing what you're seeing. I feel fine about our RB room for the next few years, for how we utilize the position. I don't feel as strong about our WR room.100%. But if we are going to the portal for a RB, with our limitations scholarship wise, we can't risk a miss. He's an intriguing guy mostly because he's a freshman and I do like his size, but I don't see what he offers us that is superior to P Lew or Bishop and why risk our RB room by bringing in a sophomore back? IMO if we are taking a RB for next year it's a guy who's draft eligible/graduating after the season. It really doesn't make sense otherwise. Still don't see us actually taking a transfer RB unless we have more attrition and I think it's obvious right now that our offers are contingency plans in case Seldon does actually transfer.
Fluff will do well at Arizona. He's got size to bust through smaller DL/LB's that makes up for his lack of SEC speed. If he ends up in the SEC? I'd rather face him than Braylen Russell.
At the skill positions, I would bet we push for a WR. I'm not confident in that room right now.
The Nico connection help with Moe?We'd love to get Moe here. High-level starter.. big mauler type. Josh Thompson from Northwestern is a more athletic Karic type.
