We'd love to get Moe here. High-level starter.. big mauler type. Josh Thompson from Northwestern is a more athletic Karic type.

The A&M kid was really more of a center and we need more of a guard.

David Blay is solid. Would be a nice body to add to DT (at right price). James Thompson from Wisconsin could be a fine body for us.

I do think we take a running back. I dont think that guy is in the portal.
What about wr? I find it odd if we take a rb but not a wr

To me that's not exactly a bad thing (not taking a WR). Assuming that means the coaches feel good about the position.

It's a risky move when over half of your meaningful depth next year will be 1st/2nd year players, only one of which has ever stepped on the field

Just so I and some posters don’t keep going back and forth

This is your opinion…are we looking for a starter type at RB (like I think) or a depth piece (like others think)
If we take someone, it’ll be the type we think can meaningfully contribute. Starting? Maybe. So no not a depth piece

If we can land Moe + Thompson on the IOL and Thompson + Blay on the interior DL (probably wishful thinking) we'll be even more stacked on the LOS than this season...

If we do end taking a RB, I suspect that means Seldon will hit the portal. Just doesn’t seem like enough snaps to go around for the 5 RB’s we already have plus a new mouth to feed.

I could see Seldon moving to receiver...maybe even getting moved there as a contingency plan during the playoffs. He has great potential at RB, but if he's injury prone then that might not be the best long-term fit. He was originally a receiver and it shouldn't surprise anyone if he is moved there. He has the speed and size to be a good one.

This is me reading between the lines but I’ve seen some posts from Staleys dad and with how high he and MM were coming in, it appears the staff have high hopes for those two paired with DTjr and squirrel next year and feel really good about this years wr haul. With the other 4 receivers leaving you have to think Staley and MM know they are part of the core moving forward.

Just my uninformed speculation.

True and I haven’t made comment on who we should or shouldn’t but don’t like fans that tell other fans how to fan…especially when it’s obvious

Of course fans don’t know what’s actually going on behind the scenes

…but that’s what message boards are for!!!! To speculate, give opinions, etc

So don’t be Captain Obvious while calling out other fans
...as you call out other fans.

I would say that's a safe assumption.
Is it 100%, regardless of where Dylan is projected, that he is NFL bound?
Would be very surprising if he comes back to me.
Ohhhhhhh Haynes entered the portal.

Definitely gonna ball out wherever he goes. He just needs more carries. Very, very underutilized
Georgia imo.

I think we’re not looking and only offering to have a backup plan if another one enters the portal.
