Same reason as Alabama.Uga has 4 5star RBs on the roster. Travis Etienne, branson r, Roderick r, Nate Frazier. Plus others. Can you (or someone else) explain to me how they’re able to attract that type of talent given how loaded the backfield is? I just don’t get it.
We don’t have enough in game experience to really know. I was excited we got him but it seemed like he really didn’t finish his runs. I like Bishop much better.Personally, I wish they would give Seldon a shot at LB.
His instincts would kill it there. Already played WR and RB, so he is definitely athletic enough and at 6’2, 225 he is definitely big enough.
Jalin Hyatt is proof of the contrary. His hands were as bad if not worse than Nimrod's. He couldn't catch an STD in Ybor City on a Saturday night during the 2021 season. He won the Biletnikoff the following year.
Like 9 of those are walk-ons, not scholarship. Our returning scholarship WRs are Squirrel, Matthews, Brazzell, and Staley. Smith and Jackson are EE's. Dodson will join in the summer. So 7 scholarship WRs next year with 3 of them being freshmen. Seems light, but I trust the coaches until they give us reason not to.
Yet they were 15 in the league in rushing yards per game.Uga has 4 5star RBs on the roster. Travis Etienne, branson r, Roderick r, Nate Frazier. Plus others. All of these things are true. But I would point out that catching wide open passes was an improvement from 2021, when he dropped a lot of wide open passes.I agree with this post and the sentiment. In fairness to the counter argument though...Hyatt was WIDE open for most of those catches so they were uncontested which is a lot easier. Nobody hitting him early or pulling 1 of his arms down etc. Pass interference and especially HOLDING by the Oline were just completely ignored this season in the SEC
You’re absolutely right about that.i am not buying Fluff as a starter for Tennessee ever
he will do fine in the pac. he experienced what running in the sec looks like when he averaged 1.7 yards a carry against LSU. He crushed it against a 1-11 southern miss, an 0-12 NW state, 5-6 Appy st, and a 5-7 ULM and disappeared against teams with talent. I am sure he's exciting if you look at only numbers but upon examination.... nah
