I think he will be a good player, but he has not been so good that he’s forced himself onto the field on a crowded roster. He’ll play 2 more years and I think he will be at least a strong contributor.

I dont like this one.

I think the coaches did him a huge disservice(Im sure people will be shocked to see me disagree with coaches). When we signed this kid I thought he would be a really good slot WR. Moving him to a new position because we were looking for a power back, then the hamstring injury this year. Just not a good situation for the kid. I wish him well moving forward.

So who are the at least 2 WR's we will need to go after now? Anything less than that and with the way we've seen how WR's can get hurt means our staff is fine to take a step backwards next year.
Min 2 Oline as well.

the days of Heup doing more with less are over, especially with the portal. No excuse not to fill positions of need with elite talent. We have the money and now the brand.

Lol you are not bringing in any elite talent at WR with your top 3 positions solidified. It would be interesting to see if they can find a solid G5 contributor who is fine with the thought of being a role player on a playoff team. It appears that we will be a little thin at WR but we went the first 3 years with us using only 3-4 WRs so there is history there to show that we can roll with what he have. Also this presents a golden opportunity to get the higher level talent that we have brought in experience and development. This is something that was significantly hindered with bringing in transfers the last two years therefore we are in the situation we are in.

Roll with this two deep

Brazzell/Smith
White/Staley
Matthews/Jackson

If you do that this upcoming year there is a chance you don’t have to rely on the portal for a WR in the future.

#3/8/9 are the only QBs on that list who made the CFP. Tells me that QBR stat is, if not meaningless, something that doesn’t tell you much about ranking QB’s effectiveness when it comes to winning.

I wouldn’t trade Nico for anyone on that list.

What I saw on WR was they weren’t looking at taking a receiver but they are now down three (4 now) to the portal in this cycle, which leads us to believe that they would look to fill a void there if the right person came along.

You never know you might have that in Rodarious Jackson or Travis Smith and just don’t realize it. One thing I thinks folks are overlooking is how stacked we are going to be with pass catching TEs that are going take a bulk of the load as well. As fans we don’t know what Dashaan Brame is going to bring to the table as well.

Peyton Lewis with a whopping 3.1 yards per carry.

Lewis needs to get better as well. That’s why I’ve continuously said we neeed a portal RB. Everyone worries about running someone off, why?? I’d understand if Lewis or Seldon had 400+ rushing yards, but they don’t.

He got hurt and seemed to stay hurt until the end of the season. I don’t know if he could beat Bishop out or not, but they raved about him when they recruited him.
