I fear this is an Abyss situation. "They" have gotten into his ear and turned him from a benevolent warrior for good to a raging monster for incivility. It's really heartbreaking. I blame Tommy Dreamer and Rhino.

Pearl, with only a niche of the talent King Cal brought in, went further in the tournament this year. Plus he did that while good ole Hat was saying that he sucked the whole time.

Dooley, who apparently is in over his head, kept a really good recruiting class together for the most part, and added some really good talent to it. All of that in less than a month on the job. You will see how good he is as a coach and recruiter in a few years after he provides some stability to our program, gets some depth at all positions, and can actually start recruiting the great players at the same time as the other top programs.

Isn't the coach responsible for getting the talent? Pearl is good but he has yet to be great. Dooley has a big job and we will all see if he is up to it very soon. This year is not going to determine anything for Dooley. We will see in a couple of years. I am with you on Dooley.

I fear that you're correct - though, I initially drew parallels to Alex Wright's transformation to Berlyn. And, in this case, I blame eric (The Wall). But, I think the Abyss analogy works better.

Just a damn shame to see that type of behavior out of our very own Sabo. A damn shame I tell ya.

Seriously people...this is in the recruiting forum about a possible transfer. Please take the argument somewhere else. I come here to get away from that mess
