I will type slow for you. We are down now. Do you remember Goff/Jim D. years. FL had their time with Zook, Bama, LSU before Saban..... everyone goes through ups and downs. Georgia more than most. You are headed there again sooner than you would like to think.

Everyone know that Peyton is the O coordination and Dungy is the D coordinator. That is why they are so successful.

Kiffin got his whole scheme off of Dungy and modified it a hair. Fact.

Monte Kiffin is the mastermind behind the Tampa 2 scheme, which is a slight modification of Tony Dungy's Cover 2. His defensive philosophy has several hallmarks.

You are right. I am a dumbass. I guess I don't know football. Take your coach and let him close down the state of Tennessee and keep your in-state recruits and you might compete. With Memphis. lol

Also about the recruiting, CLK didn't just say he wanted to only recruit TN, he is going to recruit all across the country, TN is just the beginning.

If you think Ed Orgeron and Lane Kiffin aren't some of the best recruiters in the country. And Monte Kiffin is an average asst. cach. You don't know a damn thing about football and you are just trying to make yourself feel better.

SOOOO Anyway,,,, Now that that most of the Packers Defensive staff has been fired, except the guy most of you all wanted for LB's coach,,, is there anyone on that staff that can help us out? I saw where Shottenheimer was let go and I had thought he was a rising coach?

you can take Ken Norton Jr. off as a potential coach. He was a long shot anyway. But USC's defensive coordinator Holtz has went to Washington to be there defensive coordinator so I'm sure Norton Jr. is the next USC defensive coordinator

Is it starting to worry any1 else that our staff isnt coming together now....I mean we lack 4 positions (i think) and recruiting is in full swing now. IMO we need to fill our staff ASAP!

Well, he was fully aware that one of his bigger targets, Gonzales, wouldn't be aware until after the NCG. We've missed on a few guys, but I'm sure he has backups.

Besides, I'd much rather miss out on a recruit or two to make sure that we pull together the staff that Lane wants.
