What’s up with the meltdown by everyone?

Because there's a segment of the fanbase that still believes that he's going to hire some guy from Monday Night Football that hasn't coached anywhere in a decade.

If not Martin, Cristobal for OC please. He's interim at Oregon but I'd be surprised if they keep him. He could also follow Taggart to FSU.

What happens if Pruitt does not want Martin for his OC?

That should be is call to make and no one else's.

The General had no head coaching experience. Dickey didn't either. Same with Fulmer, he had no head coaching experience. These coaches are in the top 5 all time at Tennessee.
What do Kirby, Jimbo, Mullen, Franklin(at vandy) and Helton have in common? And they've all been successful.

I don't understand it. Pruitt will be a great hire and the staff he would assemble will be the best we have seen since Kiffin's and most likely better than his when he was here.

Well at least he is better than our previous coach. The bar has been set incredibly low in Knoxville.

Who might be Pruitt's Strength Coach? We got pushed around a lot this season. Does Gullickson stay or not?

This is what I want to know too. They seemed to be doing well up until Dave Lawson left the program a few seasons ago. Pruitt would have been exposed to Alabama's elite SC program so hopefully he would go for a big hire there.

Scott Cochran - if Pruitt could bring him along, that would be great! Hahaha

Me either. First time "AD" hiring a first time "HC" that MSU passed on 2 weeks ago after we passed on or were turned down by a substantial list of candidates? What could go wrong?
