Thanks. And I'd also like to give you a big thanks for doing this competition. Should be fun once football time finally arrives.

Just to add to the conversation where would you guys choose to use the tickets if you won? Which is a big "if" here I mean, look at my picks... :dance2: I kid I kid. I think I would like to go to a game at Auburn. Other than Neyland and the UNC bowl game I haven't seen the Vols play anywhere except between the hedges once. Though that was in 2004 when they were ranked 3rd and we snapped their 17 game home winning streak. I was with a diehard Georgia family so it was a really sweet win. Any way, no other experiences at SEC stadiums. I assume Auburn would be a good experience similar to Neyland. Anyone care to share about games they have seen there? And what about you guys? What game is calling your name next year?

That's a good question. As I mentioned, I'll let you guys choose where the tickets are to, and I'm not going to buy nosebleed seats. I'll probably treat myself to the Vols thrashing the Gators in Neyland, or just get USCjr tickets since it'll be here locally.

Oh, and you're definitely welcome. I'm still hoping that a lot more people get involved. I always jump at the chance to win some free tickets, and I figured I'd use some deployment cash for something good and fun.

My only prediction is that UT is going to spoil someone's trip to ATL.

And I think it's going to be South Carolina. Worley finishes the job from 2011.

I'm hopeful we beat either Florida, Georgia, or South Carolina. I also think we'll get beat by either Missouri, Vanderbilt, or Auburn.

Unfortunately, we're still very much in rebuilding stage and we probably have the most brutal schedule in the entire nation. 7-5 would be a huge victory IMO for Butch Jones and 8-4 would be spectacular.

I think our "D" will be better than expected and that Sunseri's disastrous campaign will misled people into believing we're terrible. While Butch is a huge improvement over Dooley on the offensive side of the field, I still think it will take awhile for things to click.

we beat Florida this year---almost their entire defense went to the NFL and they are pretty much relying on their running game on offense.. I have more confidence in the linebackers to stop the run rather than the corners to fend off the pass. can't wait to see how red muschamp's face gets.

we lose to USC and Georgia.. but barely. Only reason I say this is because Murray is a great leader on their team and UGA fought for every win they had last year and kept getting better (i.e. see SEC championship with alabama). losses on defense will hurt them which is why I predict USC will beat Georgia and Florida to win the east this year.. USC was a youngish team last year that still had a pretty good season beating clemson and georgia.. I think Clowney has a good chance at the Heisman and its never a problem to have two great QBs.

I think losses to Oregon and Alabama are obvious but maybe by a lesser margin that OP and everyone thinks--Butch does more with less talent IMO and they both will underestimate us.

Easy wins--WKU, South Alabama, Austin Peay, Kentucky, Missouri (they are going to struggle even more next year than they did last year)

Difficult wins--Vanderbilt (but there is no way in hell they beat us in Neyland--Franklin will be seen crying at the end of the game and will make a great GIF but that loss last year showed they had some ability)

i say 6 wins would be great and 7 wins would mean we're on the right track and we surprised a few.

Quick question: Would you give up the win against Georgia in exchange for winning out in the last 4 games? I ask because I know Georgia would be a huge win but for me winning 4 SEC games in a row and likely winning a decent(not good) bowl game would be monumental for the rebuilding.

ps. I have us beating South Carolina, largely due to the bye, and going 5 and 1 to finish the regular season. Throw in a bowl win and I think the season would be an INCREDIBLE success for this program.

Good question.

If a genie told me he could guarantee the last four wins, but we'd have a guaranteed loss to Georgia, I'd take that deal, since it probably means we have an extremely high chance of finishing at least 7-5. Maybe we could even squeeze a win out over either Florida or SC and go 8-4.

On the other hand, if the choice is merely between beating Georgia and losing Auburn or vice-verse, for instance, I'd rather have the statement win. So I guess it depends on how we're looking at it.

I predict Jagoff fortune tellers will continually start threads about the season outcomes while mom makes them dinner. So......Which is better on VN? The season actually starting,or kids going back to school? Here, school starts 17th.Both are sweet.

What's sad, is the fact that if we win 2 SEC games this year, we have improved 100% over the last 2 years.
Sad Sad Sad....we would have to win 4 SEC games this year to even be relevent.

If by some miracle I happen to win....find a Vol fan that has not had the opportunity to go to Neyland and make their day please. That first game day in the home stadium of "your team" is always remembered, no matter who you support.

I would do it, but there aren't many Vols down here!
