Good grief, Bournemouth sacked Scott Parker today. Four games into the season. Talk about being quick on the trigger.
Pulisic came in at right wing back yesterday?
Free Christian!
Lol what? It's literally the same group of people. MLS is just NFL owners looking to make use of their stadiums in the NFL offseason. Some of them already run clubs abroad anyway.Hopefully MLS sees all this American money continuing to ship overseas and pulls their head out of their *** and tries to make the league actually worth following.
The move was doomed from the start. Chelsea are dogshit at bringing on young players and it didn't ever make sense to buy Pulisic. Sarri wasn't even informed until the move was done and Tuchel barely wanted him at BVB. I don't know if it was ultimately Christian's decision or BVBs but not going to Liverpool has severely stunted his growth at the club level. He would have been behind Salah, but he would have played a lot more and Klopp could have unlocked his ability. When Reece James is hurt and you are relying on a 30 something year old washed up RB/RCB, you have to look for a back up option for that game. No other choice.
The Free Pulisic stuff is just delusional, honestly. No surprise that the clickbait masters Men In Blazers are leading the charge. The teams attack is in shambles, there’s no doubt about that, but Pulisic has played about 100 minutes so far and really has failed to flash. Some of that is on the team attacking dynamic at the time with even Mount and Havertz looking like a shell of themselves, but they at least have been providing off ball work. This is where CP really struggled unfortunately. He is best on a team where he can make runs behind and crash the box on breaks, but he struggles against low blocks where everything is clogged.. and that’s what Chelsea mostly encounters.
I think the pressure Americans put on Pulisic is crushing too, honestly. He’s still only, what, 23? He has time, but he is also what he is at the moment. He probably needs to go to Series A, Bundesliga, or to a mid to lower level EPL team. He’s not starting for a top 6 EPL team at the moment, and US fans need to accept that. He would be better off with less pressure.
