That’s a long list haha. I have about 5 college clubs I follow, ones I have graduated from and worked at.Too lazy to go back. Who is your club?
I’ve never been able to gain interest in MLS and wasn’t sure why? I think you put your finger on it. It’s the lack of relegation/promotion.That’s a long list haha. I have about 5 college clubs I follow, ones I have graduated from and worked at.
I have completed some coaching education with various clubs and follow some others out of respect for them and their programs or for what they stand for as a club (Celtic FC, Barca, Dynamo Zagreb, Bodo/Glimt, Dulwich Hamlet, Sutton United, and a few more).
I don’t have a long time loyalty to any single PL club. I tend to watch coaches whose tactics I enjoy the most. The team I watch the most in the PL the last couple years in Brighton. Graham Potter does more with less than about anyone in the league in my opinion.
I don’t really do MLS, because without promotion/relegation what even is the point (Don’t get me started on pro/rel).
But the team I will always follow regardless of how they are doing is Venezia FC. They were the first professional team I ever watched play and they were the reason I fell in love with soccer many years ago, though it’s not always easy to find Serie B matches here stateside.
Watching Welcome to Wrexham. Anyone watched it yet?
It’s pretty good. Only watched the first episode but I was even able to get my wife to watch it because it has Ryan Reynold That’s the only reason though. I tried to get her to watch All Or Nothing: Arsenal with me and she said “No one ever willingly watches Arsenal” I’ve never been so proud of her haha
My wife was a Chelsea fan for about a half. She chose them because she had heard of them and she liked their pretty uniforms. But she quickly abandoned that once she became confused while the whole team was number ‘3’. Despite me explaining it to her why that was the case, the damage was already done. It’s pretty good. I hate that sponsor. First, the 3 is confusing to anyone that doesn’t know what it is, but also they “suspended” their sponsorship last season during the sanctions and tried to get Chelsea to remove it from their uniforms (we didn’t) and then once Boehly was named they came crawling back and threatened to raise hell if Boehly cancelled their last year of the contract. They will be on the jersey this year and that’s it. Boehly wants them out and to bring in new sponsors that will pay more.
I figured there would be some kind of by-law saying that the sponsor logo on the jersey cannot be a number, because the players themselves obviously have numbers. I get that in soccer the player numbers are only on the back, but still.

I remember the first time I saw the "3" on Chelsea's jerseys, I thought, why the hell does all the players have the same damn number. I thought it was like that Jackie Robinson thing, baseball does once a year and was a one time thing, I was wrong
