Unbelievable win over City. Hoping this is a return to form for Liverpool. Held my breath the entire last 20 minutes.
Liverpool is way too good to have been playing like they had. Sometimes injuries can help a coach see what he always should've. TAA is a liability. He should move to midfield as someone on here posted or sell him for 100 million to some sucker and purchase one fullback and one more attacking mid.

Season 2 of Welcome to Wrexham greenlit
That's good to hear. I really enjoyed the first season. Plus, it's an excellent crash course to the English game for casual/new fans that can help people see that there's value in supporting a side that isn't one of the Big Six.

Although I’ll ask…it’s well into the current season. Shouldn’t they have long since started filming in order to document things, particularly what happened in the offseason.

I never finished the Arsenal ‘All Or Nothing’, it was interesting but I suffered through it the first time.

I would guess they were covering the offseason on a shoestring budget. Doesn't seem like it would take a whole lot to record meetings and phone calls.

Man U looked pretty good today. City currently own that town, but United did look decent against a good Spurs squad.

I think United will beat my Chelsea this weekend. Our defense has been in shambles the last two PL games even the scores don’t reflect it. Kepa has just been incredible. Only reason we’ve got clean sheets.

It’s hard to say the defense has been shambles when it’s two clean sheets in a row, but between Villa and Brentford I think the combined xG was just under 4.0, but Kepa has just been a human brick wall.

Who are the candidates for Villa now that they sacked Gerard? Any names yet?
Pochettino is a name I have read a couple of times. I imagine he has to be one of the favorites at this moment.

There’s probably 10-15 names that have been suggested, Poch being one of the more popular names. A lot of rumors that our ownership is ready to spend big money to land an elite manager, whatever that really means will remain to be seen.

Apparently Gerrard was told he was gone regardless of the result today and he was supposed to stay through Brentford, but losing 3-0 to Fulham forced Villa to make a move immediately.

It is appalling how little he’s accomplished with this squad. On paper, Villa should be a favorite for a European spot, but we can’t even beat Fulham and Forest. More rumors that the ownership group were hesitant to spend over the last transfer window because Gerrard was on thin ice then as well.

There’s a lot to be optimistic about however, a good manager should be able to take over and immediately turn things around, all the pieces are already there.

I do wish more leagues would adopt the DFLs 50+1 rule. The fan bases are second to none due in large part to it in my opinion.
