The Spurs fan who kicked Aaron Ramsdale was 35 years old?!?!? I swear when I watched it he looked like a kid. Or maybe I just assumed no grown man in their 30’s could possibly do something so stupid.

I thought he looked only in his early 20s. He had his face mostly covered by a scarf so maybe if we saw his whole face we would have thought different, but yeah, definitely didn’t expect 35.

I hate this for Brighton. Hits differently because of my friend that lives there and is such a passionate fan. It’s how the system works I guess. They could easily be in the title hunt for all that they have lost recently.

That’s kind of how Southampton have been at times too. I joke with my friends there that for a few years they were basically the Liverpool Futures team. Crazy to think that Mané, Van Dijk, and Lovren were all there at the same time. Not to mention Gareth Bale and Theo Walcott also first broke through with Saints.

Sadly that is how things work. Pretty much a third of the PL are the Yankees and Dodgers, everyone else is either Kansas City or the Baltimore Orioles.

Brighton manager sure didn’t seem to mind all that much leading up to this. He ripped him a week or so ago in a presser and then held him out of the next match day squad.. something about a bad attitude I think, can’t remember the specifics and who was wrong or right. Change of scenery should probably help both him and Brighton.

Edit: I do agree that it does suck for the supporters though.

Almost 2 week break now for Chelsea before the next game.

This week they got Reece James back in training and Ben Chilwell back in training. Potentially, another player back next week in Fofana.

Use this break to get Mudryk further integrated, and add Felix in a week later after his suspension and if we still look like garbage once they are all playing then it just is what it is until next season 😂

Yeah, his appearance was about the most exciting aspect of the match.

Certainly both teams were a shell of themselves out there. We had an academy player starting in the middle of the park AT Anfield. 👀 thank the lord they are just as bad as us right now 😂

Everton needs this match today. That battle at the bottom is getting crowded.

At full strength they may basically have an All-Star team. Just got to get and keep guys healthy.

You always expect some with all of the cups on top of the league season. But it’s been unreal for them this year particularly.
For sure. Luckily, we are out of both domestic cups. Once CL kicks back in gear in mid February we will be back to a more congested schedule but we are also set to have some key people back by then hopefully.
