This is somewhat reassuring as an Everton fan, and backs up how watching the matches has felt. Performances are well above relegation form, just haven’t had results go our way. Hopefully that will come with time as the squad has a little more time to heal up and gel with one another.Thought this was pretty interesting view. Shows who is over performing and who is under performing their expected points.

Unfortunately, your 2nd point is not mind blowing to me. The transfer windows while Poch was at Spurs were so frustrating. One of the best strikers in the world and they were doing little to improve the squad around him. This is somewhat reassuring as an Everton fan, and backs up how watching the matches has felt. Another mind-blowing Chelsea stat that was mentioned on Men in Blazers this week…Chelsea spent more on transfers during Poch’s first transfer window with the club that Spurs did combined in the ELEVEN windows he was with them.
Yeah, quite a few reassuring lines to draw there for multiple teams. Chelsea is similar to Everton in that I think they are the two teams in that graphic with the worst under performing difference of expected to actual. Everton is 5 pt diff, Chelsea is 4 pt diff. That should even out as time goes on. I think it also goes along with over performing teams that I felt are going to crash back down to earth some too. West Ham has the biggest difference in their over performance. I still think they will be good but asking them to keep up with that variance of over performing will be very difficult. This is somewhat reassuring as an Everton fan, and backs up how watching the matches has felt.
