He’s not wrong though about it being an easy draw. Most soccer fans wouldn’t know what country half of the squads in that group are from.Let's be honest, unless we got Madrid you would say we had a cakewalk draw. Our draw last year proved to be one of the toughest. The year before that we had PSG, Leipzig, and Brugge.
I didn’t mean that to have any indication on past years draw. Just simply saying it’s a really easy draw, and that right now y’all’s momentum is a run away train. Perfect end to last year, really good summer signings, and now a really good draw. Outside of KDB, y’all just keep chugging along.Let's be honest, unless we got Madrid you would say we had a cakewalk draw. Our draw last year proved to be one of the toughest. KDB is a massive loss. He’s a top 5 player. Also missing Stones who was incredible to end last season. I agree it’s a good draw but the “of course” comment made it seem like it’s year after year.I didn’t mean that to have any indication on past years draw. These things are debatable but in my opinion, KDB is your best player and has been for some time. If memory serves, I believe a couple of the Spurs' wins over City the past few seasons have been when KDB was injured.KDB is a massive loss. He’s a top 5 player. The draw was seeded. It wouldn't have been possible for City to be drawn into a group that they'd break a sweat getting out of, even with a heavily rotated squad. They're head and shoulders above all but a couple teams in Europe, and they're probably a fair bit better than those teams as well. He’s not wrong though about it being an easy draw. If the rumors are true that Saudi will come back with 200M fee, Liverpool has to take that. The squad building you can do with that money is a no brainer. Will be interesting to see how this continues to unfold into the winter transfer window and 2024.
With how much the Saudis are offering, I just don't see Mo turning it down long-term. I know he loves Liverpool, but that kind of money is insane.

Liverpool have rejected a £150 million ($190m) bid for Mohamed Salah from Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad, sources have told ESPN.www.espn.com
I’ve heard he wants the move but the club won’t allow it and he’d have to force his was out. Based on his character, I doubt he’d ever do that. Will be interesting to see how this continues to unfold into the winter transfer window and 2024.
