I’ve been consistently on the “you put together a very inexperienced squad and expect them to compete for Top 4..” side of the criticism this year for Chelsea. I still think that’s the biggest issue I have but I also do recognize more and more as the weeks go on that Poch isn’t necessarily doing them any favors either. He’s had some really questionable tactical decisions and seems slow to switch it up and then when he does and it works he doesn’t stick with it the next game.

Biggest issue is the way he’s asking the midfield to play. Severely limits Enzo’s influence which is greatly needed and puts Caicedo in a position which he’s fine but not great at. It’s like buying a Ferrari and asking it to only drive within the neighborhood. He’s a ball winning 8, but a sitting 6. Both of those things contribute to our inability to play out the back which leads to counters which teams too consistently convert to goals. If Poch can’t figure it out then I don’t think he will get a 2nd year.

LFC with an absolute disaster of a performance. If the team that showed up today shows up anymore the rest of the season, they won’t sniff anything of note.

Hate that Liverpool will probably hire Alonso at seasons end. He’s a solid manager. He hasn’t had to face the pressure and quality of the PL (as a manager) yet, but I think he’s a manager you would feel pretty confident would still do really well. I hope he just ends up staying at Leverkusen. The more teams challenging Bayern in the Bundesliga then the more fun that league becomes.

Gallagher and I shared the same reaction after this Enzo free kick today. Needed some good vibes today after this past week and with the tough stretch of games coming up. Fun win.

Congrats on the win, although I don’t think we’ll be too upset about not having to play in yet another competition this season. I’ll call it a strategic loss.

I probably watch more Bundesliga than any other league anymore. Still is kind of odd seeing Kane run around.

Unfortunately I missed some weeks and forgot and then I looked and saw that it probably ruined any chances I had so I’ve been neglecting it. I’ll get back going again though, I do enjoy it.. and I need to try and defend my cup trophy from last year.
