As a side note, there was a poster on here a few years back who was a massive Barcelona/Messi fanboy and used to give me all kinds of grief on Liverpool.

Wonder what ever happened to that guy? I'd love to discuss the state of the club he supports. ;)

Not to this extent, but this is about how I expected this game to go. Team has looked exhausted ever since around the 70’ mark of the Villa game and can’t rotate as much as we need to because of injuries. Then add in the level of play that Liverpool is playing at and this is what you get. Can’t believe they didn’t call the obvious penalty in the beginning but let’s just be honest, probably doesn’t matter in the long run.

I had no idea this thread existed!

I grew up hating soccer and thought it was boring... then my son who is 9 years old became obsessed with it. Eats, sleeps, and breathes it. Started playing club soccer this year and now soccer has became my new obsession.

I adopted Arsenal as my EPL team because I love the way Bukayo Saka plays the game. (Probably a terrible way to pick a team I know lol). I do like a lot of other players though in the EPL, so my Arsenal fandom isn't rock solid like my fandom for UT is.

My other favorite team is Real Madrid. Luka Modric is my all time favorite player so he's who made me a fan. I love Bellingham and Vini Jr as well.

National team I obviously like USA, but it's hard for me not to root for England since they have a lot of my favorite players.
