It's not that extreme of a shift if you really look at it, her stance on guns has been her biggest shift in ideals which is about on par with Obama's shift on same sex marriage. Trump isn't a right winger so it's not like she's joined a Goldwater administration, it's more akin to her joining a Bill Clinton administration if you want to compare left wing v right wing.

Radical to me is how far the democrats shifted, almost in unison on illegal immigration, border security, abortion, marriage, LGBT, crime prevention measures, expressing patriotism, etc.

They went from advocating for a secure border to “Walls are racist” and hammering Biden for using the term illegal alien when referring to a murderer. The same term they used for decades.

On abortion, they went from safe, legal, and rare under Bill Clinton to “On demand and without apology” today. Pro-life democrats are essentially extinct.

As you mentioned, They went from “marriage is between one man and one woman” period! to today where IF you even dare suggest that there is anything wrong with Same Sex marriage you are a bigot that has no place in society.

They went from “What 2 people do in their own bedroom is no one’s business” to You should lose your business and role in society if you don’t display the pride patch and celebrate pride month. Oh you better bow the knee to the pride brigade or else.

They went from being tough on crime to defund the police. They justify crime committed by people of color, without excuse.

And they went from chanting USA, USA! to tearing down statues of Jefferson and others.

Tulsi is one person. I’m more amazed at the radical shift we’ve seen from the Democrat party in the last 20-25 years.

It amazing how my opinion of Trump and Musk has drastically changed for me over the last 10 years. Eerily similarities of how my opinion changed over time, and/or their course of action changed. I couldn't stand either one of those lefties at all. But just like Trump, my understanding of Musk has changed rapidly and radically over time.

I have no idea how either one of those guys does it, just the energy and will power needed is off the charts.

The federal government has always been run by a few i.e. One. That doesn't mean there isn't other components, but the day to day management of the country is one person... the President. In the case of Biden, we really don't know who that person was, probably Jill.

Trump has laid a trap for himself and the Rs in congress, with the spotlight on what DODGE is finding congress and the administration must cut spending through legislation/the budget process. If not the Rs will get smoked in the midterms and Trump will lose his mandate.

I am seeing a lot of "return to mean". there was a lot of optimism when Trump won and took office in investors. but after inflation hasn't adjusted as they thought, those same investors are less willing to spend.
