The virtue signaling of the modern GOP is wild. Get irrationally mad people didn't stand and clap for your political theater just a couple months after REMOVING CHILDHOOD CANCER CARE from the spending bill. How about instead of ****ing clapping for a dying kid so they feel better about themselves, the GOP stops gutting treatment and research to keep kids from dying of cancer. Trump rolls out various people as props while doing nothing to actually make their lives better.

There really is no GOP, all of that was basically destroyed about 8 years ago, but their real destruction happened after Bush i.e. McCain and Romney.

It's real easy to whine about socialism while benefitting from it. Things like education, fire, police, roads, recreation areas...they're important. And access to them is funded by the whole to benefit those who need them. It's not Marxism.

These farmers that are about to get boned by Trump's tariffs sure will take ALLLLLLL the socialism here soon to bail them out.

Why should I, a tax-payer, be paying to help poor farmers? Why should they get broadband access even though their bills will never cover that installation? Why are they getting paved roads? Let them pay for it!

See how stupid that sounds? You can't live in a black and white world solely because you deny the existence of the things you rail against.

It's not a matter of outrage, it's a matter of how in the hell has this administration made us such a pariah in this short span.

The utter lack of coherent diplomacy, the insulting ways they speak about other nations, the absolute ******** imperialist nonsense, the rug-pull on international aid, and now showing we can't be trusted as a military ally is an absolute perfect storm of incompetence.

The theory that they would prefer a recession to then rebuild in their image is holding more water each and every day. It's not a doubt Musk prefers this. It's no doubt that in a recession, those with cash make out, and it's known that the wage-depression of a recession will ultimately result in a benefit to corporations.

Please point out where in the Preamble you supposedly see that the government is supposed to take from the rich and give to the poor.

the problem is what you noted. Article 5 drags other people into our mess. in this case Article 5 would drag us into their mess.

and its vey unprecedented because NATO has never been called up for an existing conflict.

I see a lot of difference between.
Russia declaring war on France, and bombing Paris.
vs
Russia declaring war on Ukraine. France steps up and jumps into the war with Russia. Russia bombs Paris.

with Ukraine NATO is jumping into the fight, not being attacked first which would actually activate NATO.
