President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

Thank God if I do look foolish then. Since it is my job, given to to me by God, to raise my kids in the ways of the Lord. But, don't ever tell me my kid can go to school and be taught to explore their sexuality by an adult, but they can't pray or bring their bible to read during their free time. And then if there is time we might just practice 2+2 so you can go to McDonalds for a job.
I was taught many things about sexuality in school in the early 90s. The std lesson from coach K was particularly graphic yet impactful.

Pretty sure courts have said praying or bringing a Bible and reading it is fine. It's the school's organization of those activities that causes the issue

you're just making up stuff now. The law addresses religion. It's that simple. You're now trying to redefine things you don't like to fit as a religion so they're included. That's a ridiculous exercise. Think of all the teachings in the past 100yrs that would have been banned. Humanities class violate no existing laws

Until you use them to teach one belief over another such as promoting the exploration of sexual orientation against a parents knowledge. You're refusing to acknowledge that teaching any assemblance of beliefs can fall under the umbrella of religion. Just as being a jerk of a manager falls under sexual harassment because being an ass makes someone uncomfortable to come to work. Even though it has nothing to do with sexual harassment, it is under the umbrella. When you teach woke agenda in the schools, you are promoting a secular belief system that goes against someone's beliefs just as much as god based religions, and it should therefore have no more place within those walls as anything else deemed religion.

My stance is very simple and stright forward. Either public academics are neutral or fully inclusive. You can wrap it however you want, but having a crag queen in full regalia reading to young kids in school is OK? But, a priest reading from the bible is not? BS !!! That is teaching one lifestyle over the other and is not neutral by any means.

And if a kid wants to bring a book on Drag Queen lifestyles to read when they are at lunch...That's their business too. But, the teachers pushing those things in classes is not OK. If you have to have a teaching moment between two students that are having an altercation over their differences, then that is part of the job. But, it should be conducted between those two. I don't believe in persecuting or ridiculing kids or adults for their choices, but that behavior obviously will have to be dealt with in schools. It is an issue because you are force fed it one way these days. THe sex ed class we took in high school taught nothing but the bodies and reproductive capabilties and such. And about STD's and such. It did not promote to go exploring and that you should release your inner transgender self.

If what you wanted was in place the school system would simply shut down. In fact it would have shut down a long time ago.

Like it or not the law addresses religion. You can try to redefine what that word encompasses but it's life to be a very futile effort given what you've posted.

Your book example is about the book and not the reader. Swap texts and the same thing would happen. Nothing to prevent a priest from reading Goodnight Moon to a class

You're creating situations to be outraged about. This isn't happening as you describe. I know you wish you had that fight but it's just not there

My health class taught much more than you describe and used images you would protest against today. Biology taught reproduction. I believe @Weezer had the same class

Ditto, but it was taught as a neutral academic class, human biology I suppose, just called sex ed. And We had a pretty hot biology teacher that tutored many male students in sexuality at her apartment. But, that was in the 80's when you didn't go getting hot teachers thrown in jail.

Odd stance to be pro molestation given your recent posts. But I guess we long as they're hot

The law and what is encomapssed as religion will be challenged one day, and eventually changed. Indoctrinating kids and flooding them with wokism through math books is unacceptable. I do agree that you can't eliminate everything that has been available to teach with unless you shut down. You and I both were exposed to alot of material used in academics that can be used in many ways. Truthfully though, religion was not pushed in my schools outside of a morning prayer over a loud speaker. And no one was pressured to participate. I get the arguments for or against equally. Religion is a lifestyle of choice. So is wokism. Even though I graduated HS in 1983, for the times, my education was all academic focused, and anything alternative was in social studies or humanities, and none of it was put to me as something I should explore. The teacher had no place to do that. That's the entire base of my stance. THe teacher, or the school board, has no base to teach anything except from an academic existence standpoint.

I wasn't one that was taught by her outside of class. And I'm not pro-molestation. And I suppose most didn't consider a senior in HS to be molested by someone they bagged. high schoolers don't see bagging a hot teacher the same way adults or the law see it. But, those were the facts, not a promotion.

You're health class was how long ago?

And yes, they are forcing these wokism things on students now in the classroom.

Actually you did promote it by saying

I said early 90s. And this stuff is not being pushed like many are describing. I have no doubt the pics we saw would cause an uproar now

So, what did ya'll do in hte 90's? Did you turn anyone in for bagging the teacher? If not, did you not silently promote it if you had knowledge of it? Or. were you just being a high schooler? Saying how it was 40 years ago and promoting is two different things. If it came to light, it would have been handled legally just as it is today.

Report: Disinformation Governance Board ‘Paused,’ Nina Jankowicz Resigns

The Department of Homeland Security is reportedly pausing the Disinformation Governance Board three weeks after its creation was challenged by Republicans.

The Washington Post’s Taylor Lorenz reports that the DHS decided to shut down the board on Monday and that its leader Nina Jankowicz had drafted a resignation letter in response to their decision.

The DHS has offered Jankowicz the chance to stay in the department, defending her in a statement to the Washington Post.

Why are you acting like that's normal behavior? The difference between how it's viewed as an adult vs a kid is always going to be large

“Identity” is a religion for many these days.
