President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

Biden’s road to record-high gas prices may soon Lead to Rationing

Gasoline prices at the pump have always fluctuated within a regular epicycle of global oil prices, but the Biden administration’s every policy choice from its first day in office has contributed significantly to this week’s news that gas prices exceed $4 a gallon in all 50 states. President Biden and the Democrats seem determined to repeat every policy mistake of the 1970s, and it might not end until Biden attempts to impose price controls and rationing.

Start with Biden’s cancellation of the Keystone XL pipeline on Inauguration Day. This act was more shocking than merely the loss of unionized jobs and an insult to our largest trading partner; it is the first time to my knowledge that any president has canceled a private-sector project that was already under construction.

The problems in public school in my area start with the top and filter down.

I don’t disagree with your parenting statement. Parenting is very poor nowadays. I see boys talk back to their fathers (if they are even around). Kids that don’t use “mam” and “sir”. Just the absolute basics not getting done. Which creates the behavior issues you see in school.

Im serious in my belief that public school attendance after the 5th grade should be voluntary. A free education is a privilege and if you can’t tow the line then you need to be pushed out the door.

Good point. Also any government benefits later in life should be tied to education. You don't finish HS with a real passing grade and an opportunity to do something with your life, then you are on your own. You didn't work to earn a way to make a living, then too bad because you had the opportunity and it was free courtesy of the taxpayer. I'm tired of helping communities (sometimes racial and sometimes ethnic) who not only won't value education but basically discourage education. For those who finally see the light, there is the GED; so there's always a way to correct missed opportunity. Also the schools need to collect electronic devices and attitudes at the door - kids are there to earn an education - not for socialization and games. Entire generations of us never had a cellphone while in school, and never seemed to have emergencies where we needed one.

This has gone way passed being urgent. Crime is up .. gas prices up .. food prices/shortages up ... border crisis up .. adding more chaos to the nightmare that has become Biden's America.

I passed a station in Chattanooga today, and noticed regular was 4.29 and w/o ethanol was 4.79 (as I recall). I forgot to look at others. I don't pay much attention because my car requires premium, it's never listed on the signs, and there's little bearing between regular and premium prices - so for me the regular prices mean nothing.

Garland Meets With SCOTUS Officials After DHS Confirms Leftist Plans for Violence

Pay careful attention to his words. He isn't saying what people think he's saying.

Garland said. “I want to be clear: while people vote, argue, and debate in a democracy, we must not – we cannot – allow violence or unlawful threats of violence to permeate our national life. The Justice Department will not tolerate violence or threats of violence against judges or any other public servants at work, home, or any other location.”

He's not talking Portland type events; he's talking 1/6 type stuff ... where people actually assembled and attempted to get politicians to listen for a change.

Republicans said screw the US citizens too. They overwhelmingly voted for $40 billion to go to Ukraine instead of going to American families.
The second Republicans vote not to send money to Ukraine, dimocrats & the MSM would be on every media outlet screaming they are racist and agents if Putin and that they voted for Ukrainians to die.

Slo Jo and his Cackling Ho getting their piece of the pie!

Biden Increases Crude Oil Royalty Rate, Scales Back Leases
https://www.usnews.com/news/busines...l-royalty-rate-scales-back-leases?context=amp

The royalty rate for new leases will increase to 18.75%, from the current 12.5%. That’s a 50% percent jump and marks the first increase to royalties for the government in decades.

Well, that's sure to help get things rolling. With friend like joe and the gang, we certainly don't need any enemies.

The vote was to send 40b to Ukraine or American families?

If the bulk of that is for military procurement, then a bunch of it will be going to American families. We tend to build a lot of that stuff in the US.

If they aren’t tough enough to handle insults, then they might as well call themselves democrats since they’re already pushing democratic policies.

I think many kids are being hit from both sides. Bad conditions at home with structure and character foundations and a bureaucracy that is taking advantage with propaganda more than teaching the fundamentals so the kids will be ready to contribute positively to society. They are in too much of a hurry to teach what makes this country bad but the kid has a hard time reading and writing. That's ok, they will pass him anyway and create a person with a victim mentality. Also, do you remember teachers with purple, orange, and green hair growing up wearing social justice t-shirts to school. I don't, but I do remember some with gray hair because they stuck around for some time and we're invested in the community.

It's not the inability to handle insults; it's the inability of the weak minded to think that the dems hurling insults have an actual point and thereby become part of the 81M.

You’re missing the point.

Then clarify it, but that wasn’t the vote.

I’m generally very very very fiscally conservative. I want the Department of Education abolished. And probably several other federal agencies.

I can tolerate sending military equipment to people willing to fend off an aggressor that is also our enemy.

If you believe a lot of the money will go toward American families, then we should be praising the Biden administration for this maneuver.
