Not “equally indefensible” at all.Give me a break. There are far more people in the PF claiming Biden is guilty of inappropriate behavior. No one says "shat" about that. I'm simply taking an equally indefensible balancing position.
And the responses are hilarious and telling.
And since when do parent actual shower with kids on the regular especially those of the opposite sex. ..you bath them in a tub..on the outside clothes..or if your in the bath you in trunks..Luther is trying to rationalize hos continuous support of Biden. Not “equally indefensible” at all.
Placed on one of your continuums, it is more likely the showers with his adolescent daughter were inappropriate, than appropriate. Based on Ashley Biden’s own words - “probably inappropriate”

Both with and without clothes. Once they were able to stand securely, I would wash them without being in shower with them.Knowing you, you were probably clothed unless the disaster splattered on you..and if they are in diapers that's is still age appropriate
That's where we disagree. Not “equally indefensible” at all.

lol....“Probably”
adverb
- almost certainly; as far as one knows or can tell.
"she would probably never see him again"
You should attend music festivals with dink.lol....
I understand the definition.
Just because someone uses the word "probably" in now way means the subject was actually probable.
I saw something in the woods, it was probably Bigfoot..
Does that mean it was probably Bigfoot?
Does that mean I actually truly believe it was probably Bigfoot?
Would the fact that I had been eating mushrooms all day factor in?
It's early..... please explain again how "probably inappropriate" really means "probably 'not' inappropriate"That's where we disagree.
You think that her saying "probably" means it was probably inappropriate.
I think that her saying "probably" means it was probably not inappropriate.
Why not take Ashley at her word? What you've done here is add the word "not" and by doing so you've completely changed her meaning. Why would you do that? It is NOT appropriate to shower with a girl of that ageThat's where we disagree.

If you ask your 4 year old kid if he brushed his teeth and he says "probably", it means he probably did not. It's early..... please explain again how "probably inappropriate" really means "probably 'not' inappropriate"
This could create a very interesting thread where we take comments from VNers and add the word "not" where it doesn't exist.
It was a 30 year oldwo.en dealing with trauma to explain why she is hypersexual, an addict, and id you read her diary you'd realize that she uses sex to gain favor from men..( I believe she even mentions that with regards to Joe, but I'll verify). So the fact that showering with her father was "probably" inappropriate from the view point of an older women reflecting tell you it wasn't appropriate. If you ask your 4 year old kid if he brushed his teeth and he says "probably", it means he probably did not.
If the cop asks the driver he just pulled over if he is sober, and the driver says "probably", it means he is probably not.
She was brainstorming possible explanations during a stream of consciousness, had it been inappropriate she would have gone into more detail.....it would have deserved far more reflection than one simple vague sentence.
Except she didn’t say “probably not inappropriate”.That's where we disagree.
