My grandad had Parkinsons. They can unpredictable. It's tough to deal with. There have been reports of those with Parkinsons shooting their own family members out of mistaken identity and such.I’m as far removed from being a dr as you can get but , I was talking care of my dad for years with Parkinson’s and I can say that everything my dad was doing we are seeing out of Joe . The stone face , the shuffle in his gait , the trying to talk or search for people that aren’t there , sundowner syndrome is real and affects them in crazy ways . I’d like to know only one thing to know for sure .. how do they keep him in his bedroom at night because it’s a real problem with Parkinson’s

awfulMy dads girlfriend called me one morning and begged me to come get all the guns out of the house , during the night he went and got a pistol that had been locked up and pulled it on her , thought she was somebody that had broken in . My brother started staying with him and he woke up one morning with my dad standing in his bedroom door with a kitchen knife staring at him but eyed glazed . We also had to put alarms on the doors so at night we could hear if he was trying to go out . It’s a struggle for anyone caring for them .
So inspiring and yet so inspirational!!!
