President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

people complained like hell when it was first introduced.

it's the same with water usage rules on dishwashers - mine has a setting that is nearly 4 hours. A "quick" cycle is nearly 2 hours.

I get it..water conservation is a good thing..But why are we allowing millions of immigrants to cross our borders and consume our limited utilities?

Have always wondered how legit Posobiec’s WH sources were. However, if this is true, they know they’ve royally f’d up with this Facebook stuff.

If you listened to her though she said it out loud “ we aren’t doing anything , it’s the private companies “ . That’s how the government plays the Symantec’s game when it comes to tinkering around with free speech . “ it’s not us “ . 😉

I'm glad my toilet was designed with a special feature called a big ass tank O water that can be called upon when it gets flushed if I hold the handle down. A normal press of the handle probably lets a gallon of water into the bowl, but the special feature "hold your hand on the handle" until the tank empties probably let's 3 or 4 gallons into the bowl properly flushing the toilet when called upon. Toilets, just like gasoline jugs for your lawn mower can be defeated despite the governments worst intentions.

Showers , beds and toilets are three things truckers use to judge a good motel room . Unless you get caught in a state ( California) that mandates low flow , 90% of the others I’ve stayed in don’t have them . So I was really shocked that trump even made a big deal out of it . Apparently his hotels that he’s use to staying in and mine are way different 😂

👇👍 still much higher than the last decade. Not to mention we can drop about five articles which state many expect this dip to be short term as DIY projects are put off due to ridiculously high lumber prices so near term demand is filled. 😂🤡

Yeah I had put mine off because prices were unreasonably outrageous.

So no one can change a 30yo rule? That's ridiculous. If there was a demand the market would provide. Wanting the govt to tell you what is best is lazy and ignorant
For me its about conservation and not being wasteful. It seems obvious to me a toilet using 1.6 gallons per flush is much more environmentally friendly than one using 7. Even if you take a big **** and have to flush twice you are still saving a considerable amount of water.

I live in Tennessee and we don't have a water shortage like they do out west. How concerned should I be about conserving water?

What typical national chains rate good? I know it can vary place to place and even town to town.

Depends on whether GA (Atlanta basically) can get its grubby paws on the TN River.

EL must live in GA and make water runs...

Just because there is not currently a water shortage doesn't mean you should just waste as much water as possible *****ing and showering. I think that's common sense and most reasonable people would agree, but its became increasingly apparent there is a shortage of reasonable people on this particular message board.

There also isn't an electricity shortage. Do you set your ac on 65 and leave all your lights on all day for the hell of it too?

You spooled your turbo's up quickly didn't you? For you info my AC is set on 73 and I have all high efficient lights in my house. Now, do you have an electric car and eat all vegan food?

No, its JMO that "we don't have a water shortage" is not a good argument for wasting earth's most precious resource.

Nope.

Through 2020, the official said these standards had saved consumers $111.1 billion dollars in energy and water bills, 4.8 quads of energy and 4.3 trillion gallons of water.
Those water savings equated to 107.5 billion baths of water with a 40-gallon average bath, the official said, which is equivalent to 63% of the water in Lake Champlain.

Are they going to make everyone install 2 watt light bulbs? It looks like people should have the choice to install low flow fixtures to save money and water if they want while others could have the choice to get the most powerful the wanted since they’re paying their bill. Wonder how many wealthy wokesters you adore that have 300 square foot walk in showers with water falls, massage blasters, and a huge rainfall shower head. 😂🤣 You’re a joke and these issues are stupid and a waste of time.

Where the hell do you think the water goes when it goes down the toilet? Thru a black hole into another dimension? The water is recycled thru the eco system continually and any quantity loss which might happen 5 or 10 years down the road doesn’t care if you flush twice today FFS.

That’s very subjective when you are on the road for a long haul ( 2-5 weeks ) my motto is …”you can do anything for 12 hours “ but after a week of staying anywhere just basically to get a shower and some sleep , my attitude changes and I start wanting someplace nice for a night or two . Hotels and motel rates change so drastically from place to place that it’s hard to figure them in sometimes . The breaking point in the winter is around $85 the summer it will go to about $100 a night ( we use every discount we can find and then ask if they have more ) . Stay away from anyplace that has water close to it , that triples the price . Probably my favorite all around one to stay in is a Holiday Inn Express . Their beds are always the best .

Remember, the ice packs and glaciers are melting, the seas are rising, and we're all gonna drown.

You are right about not wasting resources, but honestly there are many more ways we're wasting resources including water than in the shower. You also realize we're in an essentially closed system - the water we use still goes back into circulation - it really isn't destroyed or consumed. Our consumer oriented, disposable society wastes resources in so many ways, and I'll guarantee you the newer generations aren't going to give up trendy new phones and other gadgets that have become the new fashion industry.

If they really care about water usage and deforestation then we need to off about a quarter of the worlds population at some point.

Finite resources with growing demand /= stable reserves
