But don't worry: There's no need to fear if you've got nothing to hide.
"For already compliant taxpayers, the only effect of this regime is to provide easy access to summary information on financial accounts and to decrease the likelihood of costly 'no fault' examinations," the Treasury Department said this May in a nakedly authoritarian document called "The American Families Plan Tax Compliance Agenda."​

But "for noncompliant taxpayers," the department continues, "this regime would encourage voluntary compliance as evaders realize that the risk of evasion being detected has risen noticeably."​

Anyone notice Biden hasn't been cheesing like a cheshire cat and discussing his favorite ice cream over the last two months? I haven't seen him giggling like a teen age girl at a Justin Bieber concert lately.

Yeah, and all that real climate change they will be facilitating by giving credits for continued deforesting and strip mining for the metals needed to make batteries that will require hazard waste disposal at the end of their useful life (and the batteries too).

It's not listed in the article but the cost taxpayers will be paying by putting in "charging stations" all around the country & how many it'll take to do it isn't mentioned.

Now that a Democrat is president & in the WH any states that don't buy into the Democratic agenda must be bludgeoned into submission. Joe Biden and the Democrats only view federalism as a useful tool to resist Republican presidents. When a Democrat is calling the shots, Republican governors aren't afforded the same progress.
