President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

Eco dumbasses.

Riding thru UT campus today, I see all these battery powered scooters. Saving the world, green generation, right?

When I was at UT we walked or rode a bike.

Hmmm...I doubt they understand.

I think that is just the easy to maneuver toy people have been buying for fun and convenience for the last several years. I'm not sure it's similar to the one I think Josh Dobbs had.

There used to be a saying you could tell the freshman from the seniors by their calves for those the know the campus or went to school know this first hand.

What gets me is that Joe did absolutely nothing his whole time in the Senate and as VP. He had made multiple racist statements in the past and even during his campaign. He admitted that his mentors were James Eastland and Robert Byrd who segregationists. Yet people still voted for the guy.

Then you had a candidate like Tulsi Gabbard who was smart and qualified to be their nominee yet their media ran smear campaigns against her.
It wasn't just Tulsi that media ran smear campaigns against...

You know that bridge by the student union that puts you halfway up the hill? It wasn't there in the 60s, so it was allll the way down the hill and allll the way up the hill - both ways. BTW the accepted footwear in the 60s was Bass Weejuns (leather soles and heels); learning to correct skids was one of those things you developed early on if you stayed at UT.

At least Gabbard was much more well spoken than Joe and could defend her positions with ease. And she at least tried sitting down and talking to other Conservatives and Republicans and actually had civil discussions. And at the end they could just agree to disagree with her.
Hmm sounds a lot like some other candidate I know that was far less leftist..............

Yes on okaying the BOP, and on appearing weak during summit with Khrushchev.

However, he handled the Cuban Missile Crisis very well, and had advisors only in Vietnam. Whether it would have escalated as it did after his death is subjectivity on anyone’s part.

Questionable morals? Haha. As you well know, presidents having extramarital relations was to some degree ignored during much of our history. Whatever ones opinions of his moral character is, his performance as president has nothing to do with who he did and don’t sleep with.

I’ll say this again. Go look at any poll which ranks presidents, and even polls that show the lowest and highest approval ratings during an entire presidency. Then let me know where you find JFK ranking in the majority.
You do know that at least two of his mistresses died of dubious circumstances within 2 years of each other. Just saying. Those things in JFK's case can't be downplayed.

But JFK is getting beat up unfairly for Bay of Pigs, Vietnam and Cuban Missile Crisis. These must be some John Birch Society members in here.

Bill's planting Windows? I saw last year that Bill Gates is the largest private owner of farmland.

Somehow we need to change inheritance laws so that it's possible for farms to stay in a family, it that's still the big problem. Corporate farming isn't going to work to our benefit, and there doesn't seem to be enough incentive to keep kids on the farm. It would be nice to have food with flavor again instead of the bland crap you buy in produce sections at the grocery.
Don't worry. Commodity prices will soon be so high, that you'll see people diving into farming like it is a gold rush.

Different ideology. Right.

Not political ideology as you are alluding too though.

The Democrats have a damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead no matter the consequences mindset. They realize that once they get laws passed, even if they get waxed in the next mid terms, that it is near impossible to get the laws off the books.

This is much more a over all out look on win at all cost.

If you mean ideology in this aspect then yes. But Michael Jordan could be thrown into the same damn the torpedoes ideology.

So I do not view it as a political ideology. McCain lacked the ability to match the Democrats at their own game. Trump did but like Custer he let his ego get the best of him and couldn’t realize that sometimes you can lose a battle to win a war and you need to walk away. But you don’t always walk away. You simply pick the right time. McCain never would pick the right time. He was also a career politician.
