I keep thinking that one day people will actually realize that energy cost is the mother of all overhead. I've thought it so long and been disappointed for so long that it still isn't recognized, that I'd bet it will never be recognized as such. Since a big subset of people can't even figure out they pay taxes for business when they buy products, there's just not much hope for reality. If you could even get people to understand that energy cost is to an economy what friction and resistance are to mechanical and electrical systems ...

I remember standing in disbelief at the bacon counter at the prices a couple weeks back...then bit the bullet and bought the on sale Hormel for like 11.99 for 12ozBought a pack of bacon for $13. But this will only hurt the rich people, lol.
