The two fold problem with socialism is that 1) almost EVERONE sees themselves as „poor“ while at the same time 2) untold millions below them economically see them as „rich“. Socialism is only attractive as long as you ignore the fact that a whole lot of people see YOU as THEIR meal ticket. Socialists are only capable of looking upwards in envy and never downwards in fear
