Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents found a group of 75 migrants locked inside a refrigerated tractor-trailer rig at an immigration checkpoint near the Texas-Mexico border. The migrants locked inside the 58-degree trailer included a four-year-old child.

Once again the dems are learning a lesson. This time it's about identity ... the who you want to be without regard to who you are debacle. They went for it whole hog, too - not just with kamala. They knew who she was in the debates, and still made the leap. Now they need to dump joe, and they have no way to do it. This was literally throwing a old decrepit swimmer drowning in the deep end of the pool a concrete life preserver. Sit back, enjoy the show, and bring a huge basket of rotten veggies to throw at the onstage clowns ... and it is a big assortment including a really bad drag show.

You are conflating a bunch of different thing

1. Modern ideologies vs the ideologies of the time. Modern far right doesnt equal ww2 far right. Just like our founding fathers were the left during their time, but would now be considered far right.
2. Tactics vs ideologies. Just because they both used similar tactics in enforcing the ideologies doesnt mean they are aligned ideologically and believe the same thing. Similar to a triple option offense vs RPO. Both rely on a player running the ball, but that doesnt mean the concepts behind the execution of the two are the same. Different blocking schemes, different personnel.
3. End goals as ideologies. Pretty much any form of governments end goal is compliance with the state. Democracies, and anarchist included. The compliance is the same, but what you are complying to is vastly different, that's what is going on with WW2 Fascism vs communism.

Under you oversimplistic worldview WW2 America was also far left.

Because you are making a different argument. If he had said totalitarians or authoritarians he would be correct.

The inexactness here allows for false arguments while the real issues you are pointing out go unaddressed. It goes unaddressed because people cant agree on what the issue is because no one is defining it correctly. That wiggle room allows the two parties to play off each other while things get worse. Because if we used the correct terms we would know that neither the modern left, nor right, is the solution to our problems. In fact they are the root cause of it all.

And we cant change and improve if we dont know what the real issue is. Using correct terms allows for us to identify, isolate, and fix, the actual problem(s).
