Somebody needs to explain to dems that if wages increase and productivity doesn't the result is inflation. Wages are a production cost; you just can't increase cost and pretend it doesn't affect the selling cost of the goods and services produced. What we dearly need in schools is some simplified courses like thermodynamics and feedback and controls or system dynamics done in comic book fashion to explain some elementary stuff like why there's no perpetual motion, why friction drags things to a halt, why you lose every time you transform energy from one state to another, etc ... and how those apply to a lot more than science and engineering. We've been building generations of stupid and far exceeded the wildest expectations.
I’ve yet to come to a conclusion on whether this is all purposeful or not. The latter requires a stupidity that I can’t comprehend.
