The elected "morons" aren't exactly morons in most cases; they are very corrupt people who have a different agenda from ours and some slick marketing to sell their lies. True, some really are morons, which says a lot about the quality of the electorate; but the attempt has always been to broaden and not to insure a more knowledgeable electorate.

I don't need a link. You declined an invitation to answer a direct question of whether you supported eliminating illegal immigration. Then you have made a string of arguments in support of illegal immigration. You must be getting posting tips from Luther. He won't answer direct questions either. Both of you missed your calling. You would have made excellent liberal politicians.

There is no link to produce because you're simply making it up. To you anyone crossing the border is an illegal with no value. When the discussion starts at that point it's really just a race to the bottom.

I support the necessary labor being given a path into the country to do that task. Anything else you've made up in your mind in order to call me a leftie is a lie

You post that crap, and then seriously want to claim that I'm making stuff up? You've got one hell of a lot of nerve. Anyone crossing the border illegally IS ILLEGAL. I support legal immigration. My sister-in-law was a legal immigrant.

The reason that I don't have the link you're craving is that you're too cowardly to answer the direct question. Yet, here you are again supporting illegal immigration and trying to defame anyone that doesn't agree with you by saying that they place "no value" on human lives.

My definition of illegal immigration is the same as everyone else that isn't trying to ignore the truth to support law breakers. Nobody sneaking across the border is here legally. Those are the people you're supporting.

That is one of the most pro-Carter articles I have seen. it was way worse than that for the people who lived through it. Interest rates were in the high teens, Gas prices soared due to OPEC. American hostages in Iran. A failed rescue attempt. But worst of all, the idea that we should just suffer through it all. Biden reminds me so much of Carter, except Carter was a good intention man that just had no idea what he was doing.

Real bad. You are talking gas rationing kind of bad. Terrific inflation, and an administration as clueless as this one. And one held hostage by Iran. Despite being a nuclear engineer (who couldn't pronounce "nuclear"), he screwed nuclear power with his spent fuel policies. Total dumbass. The Dept of Education was created under his watch. He gave up the Panama Canal. He might have done something good, but I don't remember anything positive. I do remember almost not qualifying for the loan on the house we had built because the mortgage rate had climbed well beyond 10% and headed higher daily.

To his credit Carter did get the ball rolling on some deregulation but that's about the only positive from his time in the WH.
