Projected SEC Standings

Next year is the year we got to be patient, we will be better this year than next we will have to replace the entire OL and most of the DL, year 3 when we will take a Leap toward the top of the pack.

Good to see someone who "gets it" other than Butch Jones!

I'm not going to set myself up for dissapointment this year. I will root for UT every Saturday, but I'm preparing for the worst and hoping for the best.

Cool, so we beat Bama, yet lose to three other schools. Good to know.

Preseason polls = crap.

Whatever the scenario, it probably ends up with Bama playing for the title.

Bama didn't even win the SEC West a few years ago and got to play in the BCS title game. LSU was actually penalized for winning the SEC West, since they had to win a play-in (SEC Championship Game) in order to be able to play a team they'd already beaten.

How the hell does that make any sense?

Pre-season rankings are crap.

With that being said, I expect us or Georgia to win the east. Most likely Georgia, because I do not think we will win in Athens this year.

I meant facts since CFB gave up leather helmets. Pinceton has 25 NC's or more!

Post-leather-helmet head to head.

You might want to try a different arbitrary chunk of time to measure us against. We don't need General Neyland to be better than you.

Then let's talk about this century. Princeton and Yale have the most NC in history. Does that mean they're the best programs now?

I don't know how to break this to you, dawg, but "this century" is the 21st. :lolabove:

Yale was definitely the best Bulldog football program of both the 19th and 20th centuries, but I admit you guys have a good shot at taking the 21st. Too early to tell, though.

Maybe that one loss on the Alabama prediction is by the Vols! I believe 5 wins is a few shy and firmly believe we play in a bowl game this year at 6-6 or 7-5.

I don't see us being worse than Mizzou or Vandy next season. Yeah we've got a butt banging October ahead, but if Jones can keep the players motivated and giving 110%, I see those games as wins and UT going bowling.

I didn't see us being worse than Kentucky in 2011, but we lost the game.

I didn't see us being worse than UNC in 2010, but we lost the game.

I didn't see us being worse than Missouri or Vandy in 2012, but we lost those games.

We lost those games because we were out coached and also our coach didn't know how to keep the players motivated when things got rough......

They are better than we are right now people dont wont to except it but them brains to the west are a little ahead of us didnt think it would happen in my life time but it has now it is time to put them back in there place carry peaces of card board sighs around saying you will work for us when we are beating them 40 to 0 in the third quarter remember those days i do it was not that long ago.:)

Uggh. Was that really supposed to be one sentence?

If we do better than 6-6, I'll be pleasantly surprised. Wins: Austin Peay, Western Ky, South Alabama, Auburn, Vandy, Kentucky and Missouri (hopfully-should have beaten them in 2012). So could be 7 with 4 conference wins. An upset could be 8 wins.

I don't mind low expectations. Just means we only have an upside. And heads will be turned when we do good... Reminds me of the reason I married my wife!

J/K sweetheart, I love you :) GO VOLS!
