Why the WTC then? It would be been much easier and less of a financial hit to pick another target.
The play the infinite "mise en abyme" conspiracy game that several of our posters prefer, the target makes perfect sense for a American/Israeli/Nazi/Jew/NWO conspiracy.
What doesn't make sense though is taking the unnecessary additional risk of planting explosives in the towers just to ensure they fell. If it was indeed a conspiracy, the planes were a big enough risk and would have achieved the aims of the conspirators. The towers didn't need to come down to achieve their global agenda, and incurring the risk to do so by planting explosives would be one unnecessary additional measure that would increase the likelihood of eventual exposure.
But when you're a conspiracy theorist hammer, inconvenient truths are just a nail.
P.S. One poster said something about numerous eyewitnesses reporting hearing explosions at the time of the collapse. Do you think it's possible that a gigantic burning building could make "explosion-like" noises as it hurdled hundreds of feet to the ground?
