I give it a C. Kind of just meh. I know he had to salvage it but I’m not so sure he is all in yet since he is still worried about playoffs coming up. This elite recruiting staff not looking so elite

Kind of unfair when there is a JUCO #1 TE who still may could announce us, and the #1 and #2 JUCO DE could still announce for us, and a JUCO WR that could still announce for us..

Oh, and like 14 more spots to fill with potential 4* and 5* players.

So....this thread is about as relevant as a midterm grade. Not how you start, or how you're doing 2 weeks in. Its' how you finish. We have got some solid EE's coming in, some in-state guys, and we will be just fine.

It's kinda hard to grade an unfinished product. Alontae Taylor is signing Friday, other guys might even commit tonight or tomorrow, and then we'll still have spots for February.

Be like saying, "well, UT started the season 2-0 so I grade it a solid B" then not watch the remainder of those mostly-dreadful 10 games.

The signing period is 3 days, and day 1 of the signing period isn't even over.

Not worth mentioning since this was just ESD

My guess, 70%+ of the spots will be filled by end of Friday. There will be some unexpected winners and losers for having this format but teams should have a good idea where they stand by now. There could be some players that get nervous by tomorrow though.

I didn't think Pruitt had the luxury to keep coaching Alabama, normally I like the coaches to finish out if they can but man, I think this was a different situation. I think this hurt Tennessee much more than most realize.

It's a dead period. What else could he do?

How did it hurt Tennessee? He left when the dead period started and will be back before the dead period ends. He has most of his coaching staff in place and has a couple of key support staff members on board.
