He ever heard of investments or passive income? Why in the world would you have to get a regular 9-5 after making so much money for years?

He wants the best PE class in Alabama.
He'll show those kids the video of Guarantano's QB sneak vs Bama on the goal line and the aftermath on the sideline. That'll show those kids what happens if you don't follow orders. Of course the kids will all be in crimson rtr attire and saying "our coach is cool, we beat Tennessee".

The dude has to have several million socked away. He’s not looking for benefits.
You never know - he might have blown a lot of the money. He told the NCAA he has a "cash-driven lifestyle" during the hearing about his violations, whatever that means.

According to this page (Tennessee Coach Jeremy Pruitt Salary - USA TODAY), Pruitt made approximately $17.4 million since 2010. Particularly since 2013, he's been in a high tax bracket, so let's say the tax man has taken about 30% of that income overall. That gets him down to $12.1m, spread over 11 years. That's a very nice income, but when you think about it in that way, it isn't as much as it sounds. It certainly is an amount of money you could blow if your spending was out of control. He's also got 4 kids.

I figured he'd go the NFL analyst route again like he did in 2021, but I think he might have only gotten that job because he was buddies with guys who were buddies with Joe Judge (Freddie Kitchens, Kevin Sherrer, Craig Fitzgerald, etc.). Given he's effectively blackballed from coaching in college, being a PE teacher might be the best job the dude can get right now.

He's scouting early for after his clause expires, his next PE teacher will be the next fence to pass the money through

This reminds me, didn’t his hs coaching buddy who we all thought was going to join our staff have similar allegations? I think he was the hc at colquitt and a few other places, but I don’t recall his name

Plus he's likely blown through some cash on attorneys the past few years while essentially being unemployed. I doubt anyone took his case on a contingency.
