He ever heard of investments or passive income? Why in the world would you have to get a regular 9-5 after making so much money for years?
Gonna assume he doesn’t NEED to do this. For all his faults and failures here, the guy loves young people and he’s doing something he loves.

Of course what he did was stupid at some point cant keep stepping on a guy thats down. I dont agree with the net worth part about this thread and a PE teacher still has to go to college 3-4 years to get a degree. Just playing devils advocate.

If I was financially secure and had to have some kind of job, PE teacher would be on my “maybe” list. No papers to grade, no class preparation, etc.. Just break up a fight now and then.

Great thread

Guy has a higher net worth than this entire thread combined and just got hired for his stress free dream job

Flame away
Don't be so quick to assume that, friend....

Also: no teaching job on the planet involving middle schoolers is "stress free" or a "dream job." College kids are a joy and a blessing by comparison.

I am sure this is just the title he was given. Everyone knows damn well he isn't going to be in the gym every day teaching PE. He'll be on the football staff and had to have a title to legally be there. Screw this clown.

Maybe he will remember why he loved coaching in the first place, and if he ever does get another shot, he will make it about the love of the game instead of just winning by any means possible.

It does us no good to wish him ill, it all worked out for us. But I know his dad, and he is a good man, and in the end, Pruitt is a guy who just went down the wrong path, but is still young enough to get it right. Hopefully he rights the ship and gets another shot to have the integrity he needs to have. I honestly want Pruitt to succeed. But hopefully this humbled him and will make him do better the next time.

I find it sad that people conduct themselves in a manner in which this would be what is available. What a shame!

If you had enough money to do whatever you wanted in life, what would you do? Travel? I actually think this is cool that he chose to do this. I get the hate and the jokes and Pruitt 100% deserves it, if nothing else for making me walk out of Neyland after the Georgia state fiasco...BUT, I met Pruitt on 2 occasions and he was awesome to my family

I’ve spoken with him several times and even after he was fired on the phone. Not a horrible guy. Just a horrible Head Coach.

So that attempt to blackmail the entire UTAD and "“cripple UT’s athletic programs for years” never happened? How about trying to blame the overwhelming bulk of the violations on his "inexperienced" assistants and never taking personal responsibility?
