There are plenty of ways to get health coverage without it being tied to an employer. This has to be an angle for him to coach without technically being on a coaching staff.

…and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with being a PE teacher. It’s just that somebody with his résumé and who presumably knows the people that he does would typically end up on a coaching staff of some sort, in a business deal somewhere as an investor or consultant etc.

That was my biggest hope for Pruitt at the time. NE Alabama is culturally closer to Tennessee than Tuscaloosa. Sand Mountain especially

Never liked him just said he could be likable to just talk to. Those who really know me on this board know I had nothing but distain for him.

He might have been the smartest coach we’ve ever had. He was just bad at relationship building, leadership, player relations, motivation, alumni relations and gameday strategy.

Dooley was a smartass but was a much better human being than Butch, Kiffin, or Pruitt.

What a bad period of Vols football under Cornbread; his post game press conferences blaming former coaches players, blaming not enough depth, promising better things next week,, losing to really weak teams, glad he's in our rear-view mirror
