Matthews predicted two HS coaches to be part of the staff. I assume analysts. Said one from middle Tennessee. I’ve been in Ky for the last 15 years. Who’s the middle Tn coach he’s talking about? Ensworth guy?

"Former Florida State defensive coordinator Charles Kelly is set to join Jeremy Pruitt’s staff at Tennessee, and his role has reportedly been defined.

Kelly will coach the Volunteers’ safeties and special teams, according to a report from VolQuest, which is Tennessee’s Rivals site."

Yes it does. He saying if the SEC will feel impact, it can not be him because SEC has already felt his impact.

Now he could have just poorly worded it and it still be Cochran that is hired, but the way he worded it sounded like someone just coming into SEC.

Btw, who is SportsnewsTn?

If Saban LEFT Bama for Tennessee, would the SEC “feel the impact”? His post didn’t make sense.

I like you, and I see what your saying, just disagree. Tennessee would feel impact, but the SEC is already feeling his impact, so going to Tennessee is obviously the same conference. Now if Saban had left for Texas, their conference could feel his impact. Just my opinion though, and really does not matter, just thought I understood what he meant.

A big move WITHIN the conference has an IMPACT. Cochran is the biggest S&C dog in the country. Him defecting from one conference foe to another would be HUGE. Are you understanding what I’m meaning?

"the SEC will most definitely feel the impact of this hire". Also great! Could be a Coach from anywhere that the SEC (UT opponents I presume) will fell the impact from (stronger and better conditioned, harder to defeat, UT team)

"That means he is not coming from the SEC". How does that mean he is not coming from the SEC? I read that as he could have made an impact and could do it again somewhere else. Anyway...or how, if UT is tougher, stronger, faster, and finishes games with SEC championship rings, I'm in.
