Now that most bowl games are over, hopefully we can get some clarity on the WR position coach.

2 on field coaching spots to fill. Is it just WR and TE positions left? Do we hire a WR coach and a TE coach separately or attach the TE position to Friend or Helton? We need a dedicated QB coach, so I would be hesitant to put too much responsibility on Helton as OC/QB/TE coach.

If I had to say one word that best describes Pruitt's staff: RECRUITERS

If they can coach up the talent, there's a ton of potential in the future.

Per retired coach Doug Mathews, who's arguable Fulmer's best friend...Pruitt will bring in 2 high school coaches, one will be from Middle Tennessee.

If they're High School coaches then my guess would be a retired Titan may be 1 of them.

Isn't Derek Mason, retired Titan WR a HS coach somewhere in Middle Tennessee?

Yep you are correct, Mason was hired as the wide receivers coach at Ensworth High School in Nashville, Tennessee alongside former teammate, linebackers coach, Lemanski Hall...as a matter of fact, Lemanski is on Clemson’s staff.

Did I miss something? I know official titles aren't determined yet but I wasn't aware we were going with CO-DC's? Thought it was just Sherrer's job? Articles I read today stated he would be Co though. Is Kelly the other I thought he was Special Teams etc?

I wouldn’t put a lot of stock into titles. Sherrer will be the DC. Just like at Bama now, where Tosh Lupoi is also listed as co-dc, but Pruitt is the only defensive coordinator.

Not sure if it is going to fly. The lady is not cooperating, didnt really want to, to begin with, and she had been drinking at the time. Stated she didn't even remember talking to the police.

And it's Derrick I thought. Derek is coaching Vandy....although at one time I would have said it was the same as a High School Football team.
