If you want to have a say in the specific outcome then call UT and make a sizable donation to the football program with stipulations as to how it’s to be used. Otherwise have faith that you’re doing your part and that you are part of a collective effort that has Sypre Sports/Vol Club rated as the number 2 most aggressive NIL entity in the country (which supports all current and prospective Vols athletes across a wide range of sports, not just football prospects).

Incredible event. First ever watch party inside Neyland Stadium. Great food from Gus’s Fried Chicken as well as beer and other beverages. There’s also a VIP offering that includes a tour of Shields-Watkins Field and the locker room.

Just out of curiosity, have y'all reached out to @Freak to actually advertise on VolNation? You know, like an advertisement on the side of the page where all VN members could see it? I don't recall seeing one, so that's why I'm asking. Just seems like Freak and VN would be a good advertising partner.

I hear something along these lines a lot too, just an overall shrug of shoulders discounting the impact they can make mixed with either inability to enjoy the perks (say you live far away) or not being able to hit the $300 level.). I try to remind in the end you are giving money primarily to go to our players and help be part of the team NOT for the perks but they are just a nice added bonus.

3. - “That seems shady, I won’t do that till it’s more transparent or the University is tied to it more closely.”

These are just the general skeptics in life that question everything and no matter what you say just say there isn’t enough facts.

4. - “I’ve never heard of that at all I’ll check it out”

Being so foreign to the whole concept and Club due to lack of great marketing still outside of the HARDCORE TN fan section they need more time to wrap their minds around it.

I hope that paints a little bit of the picture of what we hear. It’s why the grassroots nature of the Captains program has been so vital for us to grow a NET of 600 members over the dog days of summer. It’s taken direct relationships and conversations to keep growing.

As I keep saying I think that’s changing and really going to a lot soon with what’s to come.

We need every Vol Fan to join and certainly hope you all reading this do!

As someone working every single day to build the membership, I can concur that this is 100% accurate. Eric and I plus many other do this every day of the week, non stop. We do it for free and because we love the Vols. We are Captains, a group of volunteers that dedicate our time to growing the membership. Our efforts are not alone, The Vol Club itself, and its employees also put a considerable effort into their marketing campaigns. TV, Radio, podcasts, social media. The message is getting out every day, all the time and it’s hard to understand how most folks would not have heard about it at this point.. The efforts will increase this year with The Vol Network and ABC channel 6. The game day presence will be increased as well. We can actually all contribute by simply letting other fans know about TVC. Find us on social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) and follow and share our content.

It’s honestly very market driven. Depends on the player and their ability to earn based on their NIL, which is based on their current, expected future and actual star power… What makes a football player’s “star” power increase? Fans love to watch them play!
