Jackson led nationally ranked Center Grove to a 35-7 win over Franklin Central last night, completing 9 of 12 passes for 133 yards and 2 TDs.
Season stats through 10 games: 90 of 138 (.652) passing for 1,384 yards, 19 TDs and 3 INTs (128.7 QB rating). Has also rushed for 96 yards & 3 TDs on 38 carries (2.5 ypc).
I bet if you asked HH he would rather play than watch from the sidelines. What athlete and starter wants to sit and watch others play? Not how they are built. Also, I don't have the confidence in Milton to beat S. Bama or Vandy. Why not !
see if he’s improved !
give HH a rest after tough games with KY and UGA !
any of a number of other reasons !
Totally agree.....that was one of those moments when I had a thought and should have let it go !I bet if you asked HH he would rather play than watch from the sidelines. I gave my opinion on this from the beginning of the year. I made the statement Watch and BURN...I mean LEARN.! But I had know ideal Milton would be that bad lolCrompton was recruited to play in one offense, then tried to force fit into a absolute abomination of an offense, and then finally got a coach that could figure out how to use him. Also..he did ok the last few games but let's not pretend he suddenly was playing like Joe Burrow.
Look...I would love for Heupel to figure out the combination to "Omaha Repertory Theater" Joe, and unlock and unleash all that insane physical talent on the world of CFB....I would love to be wrong and would gladly and thankfully eat all you can eat crow buffet for the rest of my life...I really wish Heupel could fix whatever it is that is broken inside Joe Milton...but I would not bet a quarter on him doing it.
I truly and honesty believe the guy is unfixable.
I have confidence that any breathing human that can hand the ball to a running back can beat both of those teams. JsI bet if you asked HH he would rather play than watch from the sidelines. Yep I have been worried about him because of his stats. They aren't that eye poping. Don't believe he has all that many rushing years either. Looks like he moves well and has a winner mentality but the stats .I wonder if they have a stud RB or something. Don't mean this bad toward Jackson and excited he is coming but only 133 yards and yes two TD's just wondering who else on that O is taking it to the house. Just a wondering question.

Hope he ends up being a stud or that we at least get a stud in the 2023 class.

You two realize they run the Wing T right? Hitting 75% of his targets for 133 yards and 2 TDs is a lot in the Wing T. Means he is accurate and a good decision maker.
You guys ever played against the Wing T? It’s usually 9 to 10 dudes in the box with multiple RB/FB options. His stats aren’t going to be eye popping lol.

I knew this was coming. lol I'll try and make my point again. This has nothing, again nothing against or really about Jackson's talent nor abilities. I was simply asking if there was RB that is also shining or good talent on the team because someone besides Jackson must be scoring a lot. That's all. Again, asking if there might be other talent on this team we or someone else would be interested in. Hope that clears that up. I do realize that they run a wing T and I also stated already I trust JH when it comes to QB's. So there hope I covered all my bases. lol
Tried to look it up but MaxPreps blurs it all out unless you sign in. Did see some of the highlights for the last game though and his throws were money.
I try and catch his highlights but I haven't seen those. Listen I am excited about Jackson and I was just wondering if there might be another member of the team that we might be interested in. Because I do get and understand the wing T is a more run type O. South Pittsburg ran it a lot of the years. That's why I was wondering about their RB's.

Well that makes his school record and Jackson’s stats even more impressive to me. They are undefeated right now.Center Grove is averaging 224 yards rushing per game but they have no other SEC-caliber prospects on offense. Other than Jackson, their top-rated offensive player is a 2-star OT committed to Ball State.
