Yeah, he deserves great credit for beating out South Alabama and East Carolina for recruits. You're right. This guy is the modern Neyland. His family is trash. He's trash. We might as well have hired Ray Goff or Rod Dowhower.

I'm telling you. The guy is smart and has been on good staffs. The people I have talked to that should know say he is going to do well.

Hopefully, he doesn't take after Daddy and go the hyper-sanctimony route.

DaRick Rogers, Justin Hunter, James Stone, Rajion Neal, Eddrick Loften, Dave Clark, John Brown- All 4star or better. Still pulled the #9 class in 2 weeks.

Those recruits don't know dooley, for that matter who he is. Who do you think they are going to listen to someone who they know that recruited them or someone who just walked in the door.

What are they going to say? They can't say anything else or his ditzy mother will get on the radio and cry. He'll fail in an epic way. As he should. We're going to suck for the next ten years because of this hire and we deserve it.

So why the heck did they sign with Tennessee? They had time to decommit and go elsewhere.

I'm not completely blind and claiming that Dooley is going to be elite, but you can't just discount him either.

My first impression of Dooley was that we had just hired Sparky Woods, but I've been sort of talked into reserving judgment.

I'm giving him a chance. I really don't have a choice for that matter. There won't be that many fans in those seats that's for sure.

I agree that at this point, we have no choice but to give him a chance. However, if it's clear that he can't do this job, I hope we fire him quickly instead of waiting around. If after two years it's clear he can't do the job, we should fire him then, instead of giving him a chance to destroy the decade.
