Quote by Coach Dooley on Recruiting

Yeah, I can see that thought process. "I'll pass up offers from the Sabans, Meyers, and Stoops of the world to go play for an idiot at a program that will be lucky to make the Music City Bowl the next three years." That'll work out just perfect.

Yeah, well the guy who is your scapegoat after your golden boy Kiffin left us high and dry is dealing with the issues left behind from both Kiffin and Fulmer's end years. Sucks he didn't come into a program loaded like Saban and Meyer inherited aye??

With 2 recruits, Yeah ok. Now you are making me laugh harder than HatVol

you do realize that we only had 3 commits this time last year, and 2 of their names were Jose Jose and risean Broussard, right lol?

don't worry brah, I'll check your facts for ya.

The worst part is we'll likely give him another 3 after that.
Sadly, that's true. But we'll have mental giants like Lord Vacuous around to tell us how that's a good thing because we have the former assistant defensive line coach for the New York Jets on staff. So, we've got that going for us.

The selling point of "come here and play now" doesn't work in the Big 12. How in the hell do you think that's gonna go over in the big bad SEC?

Yeah, Alabama was loaded. That's why Mike Shula got fired. Don't let facts get in the way of your cultish worship of whatever UT sells you.

As glad as I am that the EE's saved our class, they shouldn't have been obligated to stay committed. They should have been given whatever time they needed to make the decision they wanted.

News Flash: Leaving for a better job isn't leaving someone "high and dry." It's reality. Why aren't you ripping your beloved Doofus for leaving poor little La Tech high and dry?

more irony from hat haha mental giant lmao.

i also need the definition for vacuous.

i think Smith is legit. I'm not worried about him. I am worried about Dooley. If you'll remember, a couple weeks ago I was on your side in saying Dooley screwed up with the Thurman stuff. I am not arrogant enough to think I know more about football than Derek Dooley though.

UT won't ever have that, because they would have hung on to Zook and Shula for about 4 more years.

They were given some time. They all went home for a few days then Corey Miller and Tyler Bray saved the day keeping everybody together imo.

Mike Shula got a 6-year contract extension after winning 10 games the year prior to getting fired. In fact, the QB that won the NC this year was recruited by Mike Shula. Bama got a better coach obviously, but got better players in the program prior to firing Shula, than UT did prior to firing Fulmer.

I still think that, had Kiffin left a week earlier, it would have been different, but I could be wrong.

I guess O made sure none of them went to class.

That's the same idiotic argument you sheep always make. It doesn't matter what I know about football. It matters what the moron we hired knows. He knew enough to be a loser in a conference only slightly better than the SAC 8. If you're clueless enough to miss how that's a really bad thing, I can't help you. It's like saying a guy who failed on the city council in Maynardville will do just fine as a US senator.

Maybe if Fulmer was gone years earlier...

Hat, they tried everything in their power to kill us off before they left. Kiffin is slime, period.

You are right, none of them went to class the next day. They all went home.

And you may be right about him leaving a week earlier. It's hard to say how that woulda played out. I think they had been together a couple days here and created a bond and all decided to stay together. If Willis woulda made it here, he would be a Vol too imo. He wouldn't have left Miller.
