I did it too, i wanted no part of Obama's change. I knew about him before he got in there. If more people knew he probably doesn't get elected, although Bush ruined it for McCain he didn't have much of a chance of winning.

Exactly, I didn't think any Republican could win. Not that Barry was a great candidate but no one wanted another Bush kinda President. And 95% +of the people knew nothing about Barry.

Another reason why i think they should quiz you on the candidates and the issues, if you fail you get turned away. Not a hard quiz either just basic stuff. If you can't pass then really why vote for something you know nothing about?

Sounds reasonable to me. I don't think a dem would ever get elected again. I still don't think most of the people don't know who the real Barry is.

So people who identify themselves as a Dem are ignorant of 'the facts' because they don't think like you?

These blanket statements are what causes backlashes towards your posts.

I get the point you are trying to make, but if this is how you really feel, then you would fail miserably and not be allowed to vote

I knew enough to not vote for him, i think i made the right choice. I don't have a party affiliation either. If you make sense you get my vote. Teleprompter Obama talks a good game but sucks at executing it.

Yep exactly, a lot of dem voters vote dem because their parents did, and their parents did. Or because of the candidates skin color. Or because they know that dems are more likely to give them hand outs.

Yet he doesn't get that. He is an intellectual superior to everyone. Rush told him so.

What did you think of Cain before last night? Did you know about him already?
I have listened to him in a couple of clips someone left on here a few weeks back, basically calling Obama out. I liked what he said then and i liked what he had to say last night. He'd get my vote as of right now.

I'm with ya, its either two arms to get him out or he will cut everyone's legs out from under them with his social agenda.

He has been so far up to this point the most Un American American president we've had so far.

Don't know anything about Cain, but like you guys liked his line about "How's that working our for you" on always sending career politicians to the WH. Paul is probably the one prominent person in the GOP right now who you know is always speaking his mind. The others were carbon copies of same ole' same ole' (and I mean that without regard to party affiliation).

Also -- and this is a purely personal thing -- whoever put together the stage and the cameras did not do any of the candidates any favors. Everyone looked absolutely tiny up there. The current mental picture we have of that group of candidates is that they are a bunch of little figurines.

And Republicans are immune to this? Please. It is an indicator of the small "ultra-conservative utopia" in which you live to not believe that others may have different views than you. Good luck with that. You're going to need it.

This is definitely what they'd push if this was ever brought up. I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting the people to know what they're voting for but i guess some people do. Excuse me. Actually nah don't excuse me i'll stand by my statement.

no need to "push" it since it's not going to change. There are plenty of 1-2 issue voters that may not understand the other ones a candidate stands for. Doesn't mean they shouldn't vote

Mine too. He used to have a radio show, not sure if he still does. Did you ever listen? I really liked his radio show. He is my guy as of right now, I am considering giving some cash today to his campaign.

It would help people see through all the media hoopla that ends up getting someone like Obama elected that's all. It wouldn't be that bad a thing i don't think.

I guarantee you conservatives know the issues better than dem voters. Remember the "i'm gonna get me some Obama money, Obama, Obama." And then when asked where the money will come from she says "Obama"? Or "I don't have to pay for my gas, I don't have to may my mortgage anymore, If I help Obama he will help me." Remember those brilliant Obama voters?

I remember someone going out asking voters who they will vote for and when they said Obama the host put McCain's policies with Obama and they said they agreed with the Obama's policies, what they didn't even know was that the policies were actually McCain's.
