Rally to Restore Sanity

Hey if a bunch of liberals want to increase a carbon footprint and pollute the Mall the weekend they should be canvassing neighborhoods for votes, let 1 million show up. And if they beat Beck's number it goes to legitimize him because this event is nothing but a reaction to him. It's sort of like LG's whole argument with Palin and O'Donnell....for someone so insignificant and stupid, they sure waste a lot of their free time on them.

regardless of the size of the crowd Stewart manages to attract, I'll bet dinner at Ruth's Criss that they leave the Mall in far worse shape than the Beck attendees left it in.

There is no doubt the Left could learn a lesson from the Tea Party regarding organization.

Regarding clear thinking - not so much. But, much like the Vols didn't really need Bryce Brown, the Left could do with less clear thinking and a lot better cohesive organization.

Colbert is about to testify before Congress!? Have the Dems lost their minds?

Colbert is actually getting to testify and he's doing it in character. He just offered to submit a video of his last colonoscopy into the congressional record.

Conyers asked him to leave. I don't blame him. The Left whines about the "joke" of the Tea Party, Beck, etc. but yet a comedian comes into a serious venue and makes a mockery of it....politicians do a good enough job of it. They don't need help. And for the Chair of the committee to be behind this whole stunt.

Do we get to make up an attendance number out of thin air after the rally?

The fact that you think 400,000 people bused to the mall that morning is still cracking me up.

Show me where I said that. Until then, you're cracking yourself up over something nonexistent. Keep on laughing. I will be as you go in search of me ever saying this.

Surely Glenn Beck wouldn't lie.

Just admit it man. In all likelyhood a large majority of people in attendance at that rally took the metro, add to the fact that it matches to a T what an Independent company said the attendance was, I feel pretty comfortable saying there was 90 - 100,000 people there.

Are you still laughing about me saying 400K? I am too. I'm laughing because you still think most of the people there for a one day event being bused right to the area would decide to take a public transportation system they know nothing about. Clearly you have no concept of DC and those who come there.

Whatever homeboy. You're assuming everyone was bused in. Thats BS. You also think it's complicated to figure out the metro. :eek:lol:

Believe what you want man. 500,000 people it was! hahaha

I'm still mesmerized by the stupidity of people so adamant that the merit of the position is proportional to the size of the crowd.

Perhaps you would have felt better if all the people that attended would have driven their personal cars.

You must have not seen any of it on tv then? There were alot more there than 90 yo 100K.
