Chad Simmons just predicted that Tennessee would land 4* OT Damien Robinson. Robinson is a 5* on TOS.

He says that it appears Bama and Tennessee are out front and that he is going with Tennessee.

From left, Henry County High School graduates Dominique Allen and Marsalis Teague watch the Patriots scrimmage with Milan Friday at Barton Field. Allen is now a running back at Louisiana State University while Teague is playing receiver at the University of Tennessee. Teague brought along Vols’ freshman running back Bryce Brown (right) to the scrimmage.

Elam might not end up in gainseville, but it wont be Tennessee

Not that this is the case, but I was looking back on the Nu'keese thread yesterday, and the same things were being said about him being a Florida solid lock.

Good Grief!

Coach arrested
Pahokee special teams and defensive backs coach Ulrik Williams was arrested on battery charges. He was booked into custody at 6:47 p.m. Friday. Williams is the second Pahokee coach to be arrested within two months. Defensive line coach Demetres Hampton was arrested on drug charges in June.

Kiffin was clearly right about the paper work some how getting botched. A bunch of thugs are coaching those kids. Dealing drugs, beating the crap out of people... what the... Does it go into detail about what exactly he did?

Dammn. If Tennessee lands this kid and Stone, I wonder if they are done with the o-line. Add Fulton to that group and I am more than happy. Ecstatic. :pepper:

Yeah,

I had read that info on TOS. We need some corners. Put the freaking fence around Illinois!

"In no order it's Maryland, Virginia Tech, Boston College, Connecticut and Virginia," he stated. "I like the distance with all of them and the competition. All of those are competing. Boston College and Virginia Tech are always contenders for the ACC Championship and big-time ACC schools. Maryland is a big-time ACC school. Virginia is rebuilding and I like that and then Connecticut competes in the Big East and they are always getting noticed."

Are you the holder or the sucker in your avatar?

An interesting pick up for Bama. Apparantly Chris Vines, a 2003 Florida QB commit, who opted to play MLB has decided to return to college and try his hand at football. It looks like he will be a walk-on for us for the fall season. So we now have our Chris Weinke. Who even knows when the last time he threw a football was. He has spent the last 6 years in the Braves organization, mostly minor league. The only good thing about it for us is that being fit shouldn't be a concern, plus he is 6'5 220 pounds. The other nice thing is since we did not recruit him and MLB is paying for his education he will never count against our 85 scholarship limit. If nothing else a freebie that may or may not work out.

Maybe when Bama and UT play in Tuscaloosa this year, they can run a promotion where Bama fans receive a free Vines bobblehead and UT fans get a free Mike Rozier bobblehead. It'll be the closest either guy gets to collegiate football fame.

I might have to agree here with that. Like I said atleast it won't cost us anything if Saban puts him on the roster.

I guarantee you don't have a Chris Weinke in the making, just another guy to hold a clipboard.

I was making a reference to his age. I know nothing about him or how good he might have been in HS. The only thing I know is that he commited to UF and went to MLB instead. I have never heard of him until today. So easy there I was posting it with some humor intended.
