Rating our Head Coaches

So stupid. Do you understand what a mess Heupel inherited? How on earth do you have him and Majors only one single letter than Lyle? Are you trolling or just that clueless?
I can see dropping Kiffin and Butch to D or D- was probably overly generous there. Fulmer and Heupel would not quite be As though IMO.

We finished in the top 5 three times while Fulmer was coach. 3
What I said was accurate. Period.

Edited to give some context...Remember I am talking about where we ranked over his tenure here. Also consider that we were top 5 once, twice maybe over the previous 20 yrs before him, and not once in the 15 yrs after he left. What does that tell you.

Whether you like the guy or not, Fulmer won a National Championship. Anything under an A for him is absurd.

Butch should be C+: he had a couple of 9-4 teams with Dobbs and Kamara.

Am I supposed to somehow believe that the roster he inherited has anything to do with him getting coached circles around by Shane Beamer almost 24 months in? lol
What? OK they had a bad game. Big effing deal. That proves it. He’s average.🙄

I would give him a C. Pre 2016 I'd give him a B as he had improved every year and 2015 all 4 losses were very close. And up until the halfway point of the 2016 I'd move that to maybe an A, but he choked away an East Division win and then choked away a BCS bowl against Vandy. And 2017 was an F-. So I give him a C.

Dooley was an F. And Kiffin I give a D- only because he made a bowl. Cornbread was a F.

I'd like to see the justification for grading Dooley a B. I said at the time that if Dooley's last name was Smith or Jones, he would have never set foot in Knoxville. If he's a B level coach, that seems to have escaped all the colleges which have hired coaches since he left town.
