Rawane Ndiaye signs his LOI

I added this into my earlier post...

He also had visits set up to these schools, that seems to have been mentioned by those schools sites...so if those schools are having him OV it seems pretty likely they've evaluated him, are interested and have probably offered.

If it was just Lewis I wouldn't be adamant, but like I said, you wanna call Lewis, Tennessee staff, Indian hills coach and rawane Ndiaye himself all liars that's your choice, you can believe its all one big conspiracy if it makes you feel better.

I would guess it all came from NDiaye and his coach.....that is more then likely what Rob Lewis is regurgitating.....true the recruiting sites dont update offers after he commits but they had none from other schools really before he committed either.

What did the Tennessee staff say....I didnt see that quote.....I went to the first Rawane page and u claimed time and time that Rawane didnt have an offer and how u didnt understand if we did.....Now you are trying to justify it.

Hmm, I don't know. Since you always slam everyone until they provide a link, I think it's only fair we ask the same of you....

Are you seriously argueing that his stats and limited action doesn't tell us an evaluation of his skills??

Considering he had a broke foot and spent a portion of the season recovering? I wouldn't exactly go by that. I believe I would want to see him in person to form my opinion.

But you can blindly go by stats with no context if youwant to.

At that time....I was unaware that yemi was likely to be leaving, if that turns out to be true I understand the move. Also at that time, I was unaware of any offers, but since his visit reports about him came out detailing his offers and interest he was getting. He had OVs planned to those schools, I'm guessing there was legit interest and the reports about the offers are likeky true.

Agree to disagree.

The article I read said he was completely healthy at the end of the season. Got any idea how his stats were for those games at the end??? That might tell us something since none of us can see him in person like you suggest until next season.

Hey, can always use a bruiser out there to wear down some guys and waste some fouls!

Dont know if you remember this guy or not, but if he grew his hair out and put some product in there, he could be the second coming of Carlos Groves.

Tried attaching the picture of him and Shaq fighting, but it wouldnt paste.

He came back for 13 games at the end of the season, think he was in peak basketball form? He played 7 mins a game, averaged 2.5 points and 3.5 boards. That is really not a good sample for me to form my opinion.

He is not a big time player. He has good size and I'm hoping a halfway decent offensive game. I'm holding off judgement until I see him, that's all I'm saying. We have people calling him the worst player ever and they haven't even seen him play and are using numbers with mo context.

Here you go sir :hi:

http://tennessee.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1496370

From that article:

""He told me to go ahead and cancel the rest of his visits, that he had decided on Tennessee."

Those scheduled official visits were to LSU, Auburn and South Carolina, all programs that had offered Ndiaye in the late period. "

Well, I can't actually read the article since I don't have a subscription, but I will trust you didn't misquote. However, since this is the only article out there it's hard to believe. I would have an easier time believing he had official offers if any of the major recruiting sites supported this. It's all about who you believe, so right now we will have to agree to disagree.

I think its fair to say you don't have enough info to form an opinion yet. However its certainly also fair to have the opinion this is a bad sign based on stats. Claiming this is a good sign is ridiculous as I have seen some posters claim this is a good swap for yemi.

What is this context you speak of?

I never said it was good sign. If he provides us with 5 points and 5 boards a game in about 12-15 mins a game then it was a good pickup. Yemi hasn't come close to that. Those are big IFs though, which is why I said I will wait till I see him on the floor before I claim him as bad.

Well considering that's from a rivals writer off of a rivals site, and rivals is a "major recruiting site", wouldn't that fit your description?

You asked for a link, I gave it to you, do with it as you please :hi:

But from a production standpoind, is their really a bad swap for Yemi? Thought he was given enough opportunity to show improvement on the offensive side, but didnt. So good swap no. But not sure it is/will be a bad one either.

A number of posters are claiming that he is a good swap for yemi. I disagree strongly. Yemi has 2 yrs of experience and I think he is much more likely to give us the numbers you speak of than this sign.
